Hi guys , I am gaming on a ryzen 1700x with a 1080ti , when i am on less damaging games like L4d2 and cs go i am getting frame rates of >60 which is pretty ridiculous . =( - Turned off v-sync - switching to high performance mode. - installed the latest driver / reinstalled How can i bump up the frame rates ? So I'm taking the ASUS Sabertooth Z87, the i7-4770K and 16GB of RAM out of my main PC, and I'm looking for replacements. I'm using a GTX1080Ti, so I'm looking for a good set of components to compliment that. My main use case would be games like, GTA V, BeamNG Drive, Assetto Corsa, Need For Speed Payback, however I do some Photoshopping and Premiere work. 16GB of RAM and a i7 would be preferable. No budget in mind. ATX case. -
So I am considering getting an Alienware Graphics Amp and sliding a 1080ti inside it. It has a full PCIe 3.0 x4 connection. Will that x4 bottleneck a 1080ti?

Should i get 2 titan xps or 1 titan V (ik its not marketed for gaming as long as it supports g-sync idc) or 2 1080tis should i just wait for more information on the titan V?

*This is my second post on the LTT forum. * This is my gaming rig/ workstation machine. I know it isn't the most impressive machine but I thought I would show it off on the forum as a starting post. Before people say this: I know I will be bottlenecked by my CPU. I plan on getting a 6850K to alleviate a bit more of the bottleneck. Here is a list of the specs: CPU: i7 5930K liquid cooled. Running 4.5Ghz at 1.28V RAM: 6 x 8GB sticks of Viper DDR4 (i know. 48GB is a weird number. I will upgrade one day) Motherboard: Asus RAMPAGE V Edition 10 Graphics Cards: 4 x GTX 1080Ti's Founders Edition Storage: 250GB samsung SSD and a 2TB WD Black PSU: 1200 watt Corsair 80+ gold certified (HX 1200 I think) Case: Lian Li PC O11 Cooler: AIO Corsair H100i V2 On a side note: How come my FPS is below 30 in Crysis at 8K?

Hi, I am CreativeDev. I am building a gaming/ workstation focused machine. I wanted to emphasize on looks without breaking the bank. I went with the Lian Li PC O11 and after running benchmarks my rig gets very hot. The GPUs on average run at 87 degrees C. I have 3 corsair AF fans for intake and the radiator on top for exhaust. Right now I am selling my PC on ebay. So here is the listing (so you can see my current fan configuration as I have photos on the listing): <Link Removed> Any assistance on how I can improve airflow would be greatly appreciated. I don't feel very comfortable with having my GPUs run so hot. They are not even overclocked.

So after lots of help from this great community I have finaly got my finger out of my ass and parts has been ordered! The shipping company had a lot to do on Black Friday and the place I ordered the case and some other parts from did NOT send the information required about the shipment... Soooo the shipping company put my case in a container, (since it was sent in two boxes and they only missed information on one box the other was sent.) my case have now been stuck in there for over a week and I'm getting quiet pissed... As the shipping company might know from my 2x phone calls asking them to put more men on work so they get their delays sortet. Now hoping to get the case by Monday Next week if I'm lucky... I would like some critcism on the parts i picked out. My budget is around $2000 plus or minus. Here’s what i have as a parts list at the moment; https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CPzMqk Im also wondering if the upgrade to 1440p and 144hz is worth it. If so will the “gtx 1080ti strix” push out over 70 fps at 1440p 144hz or will i be stuck at 50-60? I will be playing AAA titles such as COD WW2 and gta 5. Games like cs:go and rocket league are also titles i would love to play. Im going to be running one to two monitors of of it hopefully moving to three eventually.

Hi i have this Asus GTX 1080 ti Strix oc GPU and one of the 3 fans is ramping up and down from 0 to 100% and i can't control it. Other 2 fans works just fine and goes with the fan curve. I'm now using GPU tweak 2 i have used Afterburner but same there can't control the 3rd fan. I have tried DDU, clean nvidia driver installation, other PCe slot and reseting my rig. could it be that it's just broken? it's the first fan from back of the GPu ( where u put hdmi). Can any1 answer to this question? I have been lisening this sound for 5 moths on and off. And no it's not the heat the fan starts going nut even at 34 celsius

Hey all, I was having a problem I might ask for help on, currently have an I7-4790,GTX 980 and 32 gig DDR3 and an sata 3 SSD if that's relevent. I want to upgrade to a 1080Ti, will my other parts cause a bottle neck ? is there anyway to tell BEFORE testing the new card? Is there a way to do this with other components or parts in other builds as well.

So, I need some advice here. I bought a new pc in September. Randomly six days while playing overwatch during menu(uncapped fps,no vsync, obviously in games like those) there was random glitches on screen and pixilation. I had to hard reset pc as it wouldn't respond. No display on the port I was using on the GPU, I switched ports(DP 1 to DP2, etc), it worked fine till bios then again that pixilation and freeze till I ran out of all ports on gpu. New RMA comes 2 weeks later. Same issue after a week. New RMA comes 2 weeks later, this one has weird glitching on unigine heaven out of the box but no display freezing and pc continues to work. ( Tried different drivers, using DDU to uninstall, and Vbios flashes didn't do jack) So my question is, is the batch of GPUs I am getting bad or could it be a PSU problem, or could it be a motherboard(since gigabyte upgraded my purchased gaming 5 mobo to a "oem" gaming 7)? Specifications for reference:- PSU - Corsair RM750x (heard it was really great and a far cry from the "bad" RM series) Motherboard - Gigabyte Aorus Z270 gaming 7(I originally bought a gaming 5 but it was scratched inside the box and once I sent it back they gave me this, claiming it was an OEM version hence didn't come with a box) GPU - Aorus Gtx 1080 ti (non -extreme) Processor - 7700k(Oced to 4.8 Ghz) RAM - 16 GB (8x2) Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000 MHZ ( Oced to 3200MHZ) So what could be the culprit a bad luck with a bad batch of GPU's, the replaced(upgraded) motherboard, the power supply? PS: I haven't had any issues with random restarts and all which typically indicate a bad psu so I am really confused why me PPS: There is a 132 Kv line around 20 metres from my room, could that cause some issues with its EM field(I know it isn't good for people to live so close to those but no other option atm )

Hello, After a recent update "I THINK" I am getting lower fps when playing battlefield 1. I am playing at ultra all maxed out on 1440p. Shouldn't I be getting higher fps? The reason I can't compare before fps to after fps is because asshole nvidia geforce app disables fps counter if you don't have the latest update on their shit software. And I assume it's because people aren't gonna be able to complain. What is this is it normal ? Hello, I just installed an EK FC waterblock on my GTX 1080ti Strix. After tightening the screws and finishing the task, I saw that there is a strange pattern under the acrylic on the front. I’m concerned that I over tightened the screws, or did something else wrong. Any idea what this could be?

so as the title says i think this will be the final version of my build im going to be buying this weekend. before finalizing everything does anyone see any incompatibility issues or ways to to improve this? I have a strange problem. I have two 1080 TI cards in SLI with an HB bridge. I'm experiencing the following:If I turn on SLI and fire up Overwatch, my screen goes black and I lose control via keyboard. I can't alt-tab back to the desktop.If I run Destiny 2, the game runs and the SLI overlay shows up, but there is a constant flicker that does not go away.I've only successfully gotten Crysis 3 to run without a problem. The SLI overlay shows up in Crysis 3, however the "LED" dot that indicates SLI is active is not there, and there is no flicker.Any ideas? I suspect it has something to do with the Acer's freesync tech because I've run all these games on my Asus PB287Q 28" w/o any problems in SLI. I had a few people help me with this budget build, but I would love to have more pointers and such. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yPNKYr So the oddest thing about this build, is how ram is so extremely expensive, so expensive that its the MOST expensive part in the build! If you have any opinions/pointers about the this budget build, PLEASE tell me. I've been planning this a while now for my birthday. (My budget is $300, even though its a little over, the prices for my power supply and case had recently gone up for some reason) P.S. - Alot of people said I should go for a used build (or pre-built), but I really want the experience of building my own computer.

I'm planning an ITX build for video editing and gaming during college. Over the past few years, I've been saving up enough money to finally build a dream PC of my own This is my first build, so I fear I might be missing something obvious. Hi, I've got 3 monitors hooked up to my PC. My 'main' sits in the middle, and I extend to the left and right. However my left monitor is stuck as "1" and I have had no luck in Windows 10 making the middle, checked as main monitor, number "1" out of 3. The order from left to right goes 1,2,3, however number "2", remains checked as main monitor. Im trying to make this number "1" to deal with mouse issues in-game. (included screenshot) I apologize in advance if there is an obvious fix, I have dabbled around in display setting across the board, and swapped cables and adapters and ports. Thanks very much - J

I have an asus Z97 pro gamer motherboard which does not support Asus Aura that my 1080ti Strix card has, I didn't realize that when Aura is unsuported it glows gold, this is really annoying. Does anyone know how I can turn off RGB all together or change the default color?
