I have been really looking into the gtx 1050 ti from evga and their prices have dropped significantly and i'm wonder if they are actually worth the money now to buy it. I play indie games most of the time. The most demanding game that i own is Ark and i know even with insane specs that game is not well optimized yet. Thanks in advance for the responses! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MF7EQJZ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1 My pc specs: Mobo: ASrock h170m pro4 cpu: i3 6300 gpu: gtx 550ti psu: 500w inland (ticking time bomb) ram: 8gb 2133mhz

And does gtx 1050 ti 4gb and non ti 2 gb have much difference? I'm always playing at 1080p, and would never upgrade to 1440 or 2k any time..

Budget: up to 250 euros Location: Europe. Lithuania. Current system: (Please note, I did not build this system myself so I am a bit limited to knowledge on what's inside) GPU Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 VRam 2Gb CPU Intel core I5 3330 @ 3.00GHz Motherboard Gigabyte H77-DS3H PSU Brand name: Qori 500W. Sorry I can't tell any more info about it cause I didn't build this PC and not sure what's the exact model of PSU. Problem with it: started to make way to much noise, sounds like a fan problem. For safety reasons and for less noise I want to change it. PSU lasted about 4 years if anyone is wondering. OS Windows 10 Monitor One (1920x1080@60Gz) has both VGA and HDMI possible connections (and I have both cables available so they won't go to the final cost) Case The only info I can give about the case is that it is ugly If you need more specs about current system I will fill in if I can. The purpose of the system: Games and sometimes video editing, but for editing I don't complain with my current GPU. What I want to upgrade: GPU Thinking between GTX 1050 TI and GTX 1060 (3Gb). Currently thinking about 1050 TI just because with 1060 + PSU I will be over the budget PSU Be Quiet! 500W. Link to the official website of the retailer with specs: http://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/666 So far I am planing to buy everything locally so I will show approximate prices PSU: 55.16 euros GPU: 1050TI from 150 to 187 euros. 1060 (3Gb) from 217 to 319 euros. I could potentially up my budget for cheapest 1060 +PSU but really don't want to do that. I also added links to the retailer on boths GPU's (WARNING: EVERYTHING IS IN LITHUANIAN) Questions: Will everything here work fine together after the upgrade, aka are the parts compatible (I did check, I think it should unless I missed something, which is quote possible) Is this PSU reliable? Any good cheaper PSU's that I could get? (by cheaper I mean anything in 30-40 euro range) Will this PSU manage the workload? For future builds, who are reliable PSU makers? I also assume that I go with 1050 TI I could potentially buy ~400W PSU and should be fine with it right? My experience so far with PC builds: Never I have built a PC, but feel like I know enough to do it. (also can always watch Linus for more knowledge). The best experience I have is dismantling my laptop and putting it back together (and dismantling old PC's) Sorry if I made mistakes, not a native English speaker and thanks for any help.

Hello community I have never been fond of forums and simply have not posted much, I'll make this short. I haven't introduced myself but I suppose a teaser to my upcoming build log might work. I am a repair shop owner from Bullhead Arizona. We tend to have a lot of older people coming in recycling their old computers at our shop, so for a while I have been collecting and planning out sleeper builds. I figured it's about time to show people the 90% finished product now that it is functioning under it's own power fully sealed. I will complete a formal Build-Log once I finish making the I/O passthrough panel to be placed where the stock I/O used to be. Build Name: iMac R5x CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1500X GPU: Asus Nvidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB Memory: 8GB DDR4 (2400) Storage: 1Tb Western Digital Black Oh yeah, I will also try to dual boot or VM a Mac OS into her. Most likely gonna be a VM however.

Hello, My friend has a really old PC built in 2011 or so (image attached). The motherboard is from Biostar and it has PCI express 2.0 lane. He's got a Core i3 previous gen processor with DDR3 4GB RAM. He's using a non-gaming PSU which doesn't have any cable for GPUs. He now wants to buy a GPU for this PC. So if he buys a GTX 1050Ti GPU, would he be able to use that? Does it need a modern PSU? Or what about a GTX 1050 (non-Ti)? [P.S. We're not planning to go with AMD for GPU.]

So im planning to upgrade my computer i have a 1156 motherboard, i3 530 proccessor, i know those are 1st gen and they suck. Im planning to slowly upgrade them one by one. I have a 500w psu and have a +12V/21A and deciding if ill buy 1050/1050ti/750ti. Will my psu be enough? Which should i choose? Will this be a bottle neck? Thank you.

Hey there, I am currently having this PC configuration. Processor: Intel i3 2120 Motherboard: Digilite H61MX-EL Link RAM: 8GB DDR3 HDD: 1.5TB Power Supply: Standered 450W I want to play games at 1080p in medium to high setting. I am planning to buy Zotac GeForce GTX 1050TI 4GB. Link Help me, will my current configuration will work with it. Or any suggestions for graphics card, Budget in INR 13000 (190-200 USD). Hello, I have a GTX 750ti in my current rig. Christmas is coming up and I'm considering if it's time to upgrade. I play games at 1080p and do not plan to play at any other resolution in the near future. Some of the more intensive games I play are GTAV, FO4, and BF4, and I want to purchase BF1 and Titanfall 2. I care much more about saving money than getting the absolute best graphics (e.g. ultra settings) and performance, although at least solid 60fps and decent graphics is a requirement. Do you think it would be better for me to get a 1050ti for boosted settings at 1080p, or should I indulge an extra $100-150 to get the 1060? Thanks! Sincerely, Bentel Inside

Hey everyone! I'm new here, and haven't built a PC for quite a while. So I'm looking to have a little fun and get back into it with a new build (since my i3 died for no apparent reason). So here is my planned build, if you guys have any recommendations for alternatives that either suit my budget a bit better or are just better value for money, let me know! Case: BeQuiet! Silent Base 800 (with Window) (£124.99 from Amazon UK) - Ok...so my reasoning for this, is that I want, nay...I NEED a silent computer. I've spent years with a computer which is too loud to have in the same room I sleep in, so silence is a must. After seeing the review Hardwarecanucks did on it, I'm convinced this is the best in terms of low noise and beautiful aesthetics. CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-3470 Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.60 GHz) (Already Purchased) - So I already have this CPU, as it's currently in the PC I'm typing this post on (HP Pro), this way I figure I save a few quid in the meantime and a future upgrade may feature an i7 (albeit with another mobo, which will explain my choice of mobo later in the post). CPU Cooler: Be Quiet BK018 Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler (£56.99 from Amazon UK) - This is quite a straightforward choice. I've seen this in a fair few build videos from the likes of LTT and HC, and again...silence. RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LP 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model CML16GX3M2A1866C10 (£67.99 from NewEgg) - Now this one is a bit of a compromise, since the 3470 is a 1155 socket chip, I'll be going for a fairly mediocre 1155 mobo...most of which only supports DD3. And given the rather large size of the Dark Rock 3, I figured low profile was the way to go. If I were to upgrade in the future to an i7 on an 1155 board, I'd probably go for Corsair LPX dimms instead, since they're DDR4 and still have a low profile to fit with the clearance headaches of the DR3. MOBO: Struggling to find a low cost Socket 1155 Motherboard right now...so the i5 I currently have may be scuppered...either that or use the board it's on now which is HP OEM. SSD: Sandisk SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£57.99 from Amazon UK) - I only want this for my OS, I already have 8TB in regular hard drives, so for £60, this seems like a no-brainer from a reputable company like Sandisk. GPU: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC 4 GB GDDR5 128 bit Memory HDMI/DP/DVI PCI Express 3 Graphics Card - Black (£146.99 from Amazon UK) - For the price point of the 1050's and with 4GB of VRAM, I feel it's really good value for money. And at around £40 cheaper than the EVGA equivalents, the MSI seems even better value. PSU: Cooler Master - Silent Pro 700W Fully Modular PSU (80PLUS Rated) (Already Purchased) - Again, this is a piece of kit that I already have and still works great. It's modular, so even if I want new cables for better management, there's always CableMod! Here is my PCPartPickerUK List: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/3cwX2R I'm in the UK so all parts need to be able to ship here, my current budget (if my i5 is useful is around £600) if I go to i7 I might go to £8-900. At present I don't need any peripherals and this would be a day to day browser with gaming thrown in, also functioning as my Plex server. (Although if I don't end up use the i5, I plan on leaving it in the HP Pro and using that as the Plex Server in a separate room with the 8TB of hard drive space). Ok...so there's my build so far. It's a little crappy, but I'm not a hardcore gamer (although I love gaming). So if anyone has any recommendations on what to do for a similar price point on any of the components above, please comment below. And if anyone can see a combo which would give me an i7 with mobo for around £350 all in, I'm all ears! Thanks for reading, and I look forward to everyone's thoughts on this!

I have a build planned out in PCPartPicker here and I have a question on it. Is the 1050Ti good enough for the 1500x or should I shell out for the 1060? Also, I know the RGB ram and the RGB motherboard isn't necessary but I'd like some bling in my system since I will be upgrading my cooling & fans to NZXT Aer RGB's. Thanks for any replies!

So my dad gets these weekly offers on tech from a site called Ebuyer, which is a fairly large site so I trust them, and today he sent me this: http://www.ebuyer.com/745366-acer-predator-xb271h-27-full-hd-gaming-monitor-um-hx1ee-011 Its currently out of stock but the email he got from them said it costs £269.99 (which is a saving from the usuall price of £120), which for a 1080p G-Sync 144hz panel is really good. I was wondering if it is worth it for that price, even if its out of stock. I have a 1050ti so I can use the G-Sync, and I mainly play CS:GO and KSP, where I get 100fps fairly easily, but I also play Cities skylines and shadow of modor quite often where my fps is around 60-70, so i'm not sure whether this monitor would help me. What do you guys think?

I am having really strange gaming performance issues with my new Dell 7567 gaming laptop (core i5-7300HQ, 8gb ram, gtx1050ti 4gb, running all available windows, driver, and bios updates). Basically some games (Doom, and No Man's Sky in particular) experience extremely high cpu usage in either full screen mode, while in windowed mode, with borders, the games would run as expected based on the hardware. I'm not sure if I explained that well enough, so I attached some pics of the Doom in game overlay to hopefully show what is happening. Even though these are shown using the Vulkan API, I have verified that it also happens using OpenGL. So I am wondering if anyone knows what is happening and if there is a fix for it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I ordered a msi gtx1050ti from mdcomputers.in (A huge af trusted computer parts store in South India). The Gpu makes noise at 45% fan speeds under low load ;-; i was thinking of RMA'ing this so my question is do i send this for RMA to mdcomputers or msi? Md Computers provide RMA service but i am just sketchy about it so i thought i will ask the experts Also the GPU is a 1050TI 4GB OCV1, My friend has same gpu and his doesnt make slightest of noise even in load and mine makes enough sound to concern me and make me bite my nails in pressure. Any Help will be appreciated!

Okay, so I have a Zotac GTX 1050 ti OC edition. It has 2 fans. Today I noticed that the furthest right part of the graphichs card is shaking a bit (like a small vibration), in comparison to the left part which is perfectly still. I wiggled it around a bit to see if it would go away, tried to push it in a bit, but it's properly seated. There's no unusual rattling sound (although, while I was pushing it, the right fan did make a sort of a rattling sound in some positions, however it doesn't when I don't touch the gpu). Is this normal?

Last September 2017 I bought new monitor i have no issues until this last 3 weeks ago regarding with the glowing green color on every corners of my monitor. When i turned on my PC when my monitor turns on there's no green light in corners (see the picture) during windows starting(windows 7) there's still problem. But then right after my computer booted up on desktop (see the pictures) the green thingy shows up. On upper right corner of my monitor when i opened google chrome and minimize it or closed it the (minimize, maximize and X 'close') buttons will remain like shadowed(screen burn). Then after several minutes the green thingy will gone and my monitor will back to normal. (FAULTY GPU? 'palit 1050ti dual oc') i just bought this GPU 2 days ahead before buying my new monitor. I already update my GPU driver but the green thing still shows up.

I did the User Benchmark test to see how my system was running and I got these results. UserBenchmarks: Game 37%, Desk 58%, Work 40% CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 - 65.9% GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti - 34.7% SSD: Drevo X1 SSD 60GB - 39.6% HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (2016) - 100.2% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x4GB - 38.4% MBD: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-D3H-CF My graphics card has 34% below average and this is worrying. Is there any way that I can make it run as it was supposed to. Also, do you think that I should upgrade my RAM and SSD. Thanks

Hello, i recently built a pc with EVGA GTX 1050Ti Sc in it. It was working just fine, until i opened my Msi afterburner one day. Gpu was running at full clock. There are no programs in the background, completely idle pc, single 1080p monitor, but still running at full clock. I tried updating the drivers, no luck. downgraded and updated the drivers again, it fixed itself for 1 day, then it was running at full clock again. I don't really mind it much, but temps are 10C higher than previously. I searched all over the internet, but could't find an answer. If you had any similar experience or know how to fix it, please help

So simply I can increase the voltage no problem but I can't undervolt. Yes this is the pcie only version. Does anyone know of a way to undervolt the 1050ti msi after burner with the voltage control setting on wont let me go below only lift up the voltage. I have done the msi note editor the Eula thing all of it. Can anyone suggest a program that also does this maybe I can give it a try.
