Yes it has adequate pressure. The thumb screws are tightened all the way. I have remounted it several times. I know the cooler works because I tested it on another system and had much better temps.

I was recently given a old server with an Intel Xeon w3690. It had a stock cooler that was not working so I installed a corsair h100i gtx that I had laying around. It is idling around 40c and as soon as I do a stress test it hits 100c in about 10 seconds. Should this be happening? I know it is a hot cpu at 135w TDP but still shouldn't that cooler be able to keep it under 100c?

I have an lsi raid card that I was trying to flash into IT mode to use as an HBA card. During the flashing process my machine restarted. When I got back into the machine I tried to load the firmware on but now the card does not show up. Did I brick the card?

I keep getting an error when trying to install windows. I made the raid and was able to partition them but as soon as the installation starts I get an error.

I was given an IBM X3650 M3. I am unable to get any operating system to work on it. I am now just trying to get windows 10 on it. I know that this is stupid and not using the machine to its full potential and thats ok. I get into the windows 10 installer but it does not recognize my drive. The sas backplane is hooked up to an LSI raid card. I have read that I need to load the drivers to a usb. When I do this and select the flash drive under load drivers in installation, it is unable to find any drivers. Please help. What am I doing wrong?

Ok I got it booting into the esxi drive but how do I actually do anything? It gives me the static ip but my web browser wont load it

I am brand new to servers, so I have no idea how to use it. I like unRAID because from Linus' video it seems very intuitive. It has 2 10gbe cards and a fiber card installed. Would that cause issues?

I am unable to find a usb option in the BIOS. This machine is so weird. It came with a usb with VMWARE esxi that it can boot from.
