  1. So here's the situation I'm in, my modem is right next to my computer, and my computer connected directly to my modem via ethernet, has an internet speed just fast enough to watch Netflix/Stan/Popcorn Time. My lounge where my TV is connected to the wifi, has an internet speed to slow to use Netflix/Stan/720pYoutube. Is there any way I can stream content to my TV from my PC, but keeping the internet speeds my computer has? Say streaming what the computer sees, as opposed to the service on the wifi network? I'm not sure if I was clear in my explanation, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks in advanced for any help :)

Note: Netflix isn't released here in Australia yet, I say my internet is fast enough to watch it, because it's fast enough to watch Stan, I assume if my PC can watch Stan (Basically like Australian Netflix) it can watch Netflix also.

  2. That'll work. I used to use something like that with my portable DVD player :P. It's also great for inputs. You can plug two inputs in and it'll mix the music (It can split one into two and combine two into one)

I understand it'll work on a portable DVD player, it worked on my PSP when I had one, however would it work on a PC? Because usually on a PC you have to set the sound output. and if it is connected to 2 headphones but only with one input, I'm confused what I might have to set the sound to. Or does it just work? I'm confused :c

  3. How much more are they than the others? Because the Sennheiser one looks like something that just works if you need a headset and not one that sounds particularly good although I haven't heard much about it and the M30x is a very budget option from AT and usually not recommended.

The Sennheiser ones, are really good have more bass than the Audio technicas, however lack a little in mids and lows not as much, but just a little. The Audio-technicas apparently have amazing balance between mids, highs and lows, their bass doesn't compete with the U 320s, but have a really good balance. It lacks a mic, however it also seems they are more comfortable than the U 320 and have a more durable build. U320 = $99 and the ATH-M30X = $109, so the 518's are $20 more than the M30X.

  4. Are both of them dead? There are usually two sets of headphones jacks. One on the mobo and one on the front panel of the case. And I'm pretty sure there are front panel expansion devices that have a headphone jack and are pretty cheap.

It was the mobo that broke first, forcing me to use the front one in the case, then that got tugged on my by myself, breaking that, now I have to use the usb unfortunately. So yes both are broken :(

  5. So christmas is just around the corner and my old headphones (Razer Krakens, I know I hate myself too) have been dead for a couple months now, and now I'm wanting to buy some new headsets. A couple things though,

My Mic and Headphone jacks on the computer/motherboard are screwed, thanks to my dog, who pulled on the wire while I had my razer krakens completely screwed them rendering them useless. Thus I'm forced to use a USB headset, that also includes a mic. These are the ones I've come to terms with.

Frankly, I've got my eyes on either of the Siberias, because they are a well known brand, never heard of Gamdias. Regardless, I'm open to any suggestions, if you wish to suggest a different phone please remember

    • Must include build in mic
    • Must use a USB connection
    • Aussie stores/Prices

Thanks in advanced for any help! If you have any questions, to help you in deciding a headset for me feel free to ask.

*Note* I play FPS games mainly, will be getting Far Cry 4 and maybe Borderlands the pre sequel.

  6. you could have though about that before posting. at least you edited.

Prices change everyday, the thread wasn't pinned, I'd have never seen it unless you mentioned it to me. Not much help considering it's from American stores, and prices vary up to $200 (Graphics cards for example)

  7. Hey guys, so my friend told me he wanted a new rig as his current rig just isn't cutting it. They play LoL, war thunder and are thinking about playing some newer games. One of them plays music and will be using music producing programs (No clue as to the name of what they will be using sorry). Anyway this is what I've come up with.

  8. So my friend has been getting BSODS lately on his PC, we ran a memtest and it came up with approximately 37k (give or take errors), I nor he has any clue what to do. It still boots and runs for about an hour or a couple or so before BSODing, Asus H81M-E and with Corsair Dominator single stick 8GB 1333Mhz at 1.5v. Any idea what is going on? Any help is appreciated! If you need any more information feel free to ask :D

    Edit: H81M-E not ME

Edit: He is running a single stick of ram

  9. I really want to purchase 8.1 pro and that price is incredible.  Are the keys legit or it's one of those 180 day keys?

No they are legit, just make sure you buy it from a guy that has been confirmed as one of the traders of the month. The only down side is, that it's only a key, and you have to install with an ISO, some traders have a tutorial on how to do it, others don't. But even if you need help, feel free to ask this forum. The keys are bought in bulk (hence so cheap I think) from this official microsoft website (forgot the name of it) where they sell keys for cheap I guess. Anyway it's legit have bought 1 for myself before and a couple for my friends. Hope this helps :)
