  1. I love ShareX, but one thing that annoys me to death is whenever i try to take a screenshot with region capture the screen takes a snapshot of whatever i was viewing and only displays that. i want it to continue to run in the background so i can see what happens. is this possible to enable/disable? if so, where do you do it? these are my settings for region capture (you might disable it somewhere else, idk):
  2. just checked up some further and there seems to be some thought put behind my concerns. java only utilises one core, but plugins might use the rest of the cores/threads. so a higher overclocked and better cache might be better: https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/good-cpu-for-big-server.1110/ i might aswell try with both i assume
  3. to the both of you, i know of gaming performances. but i assume its completely different for hosting a server with them
  4. well, it still doesnt explain how much better it is. because id rather use that cpu for something better than a server if its just 10% better
  5. i dont know. i know java isnt the best for multicore usage. thats why im asking. and i wanna know how much of a difference it makes. because what you said basicly is more cores=better in all cases
  6. i have both lying around in my home and i wanna get my modded minecraft server going again. the i5-3570 will be run at stock since its not overclockable. the g3258 will be run at between 3.5-4ghz depending on the server load. i can understand that the i5 will be better since it has 4 cores instead of 2. but maybe it doesnt matter? idk. anyhow, how much of a difference will it be between them for the modded minecraft server (it will run some larger ftb/atlauncher etc pack)? which should i use? the rest of the computer will be the same for both builds.
  7. so, ive narrowed it down to where the rendering only crashes in mp4 (works fine with mpeg2). it doesnt matter how i change the settings (atleast all different things ive tried), the sourcefiles doesnt matter either. they can come from my elgato, fraps or camtasia. it still crashes it seems to work in adobe premiere pro, but premiere pro is double the length of the rendering and i can only render one file before starting a new project. which is not something i want. which is why i wanna fix media encoder. i have the latest (7.7.8) quicktime installed, and ive got the 2015 release of CC up to date. ive tried doing what the suggestions in this link are but none of them work: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1854027 my operating system is less than a month old and i installed premiere and media encoder 5 days ago. ive reinstalled them aswell what can i do, or what can i change to make mp4 rendering work (only thing which supports 60fps rendering)?
  8. hi everyone, thanks for the help. i went with a modified version of the one selected as best answer: http://www.prisjakt.nu/list.php?l=2890505&view=m
  9. thanks, just gonna note for the future for you that you cant overclock on h97, only z97 allows it http://www.inet.se/produkt/1902663/gigabyte-ga-z97n-wifi but it looks like this is what ill need. thank you
  10. im not gonna run G3258 on 4.2 to 4.7 on stock cooler. then i could just put an airplane inside and listen to it instead. thank you, but that build is a matx build. not mitx and nor is it a cubechassi. thanks anyways
  11. i dont have one. i will buy one even if it costs 100 bucks or 800 bucks. so it doesnt really matter. thats why i have point #2 (the computer should be as cheap as possible)
  12. ive already asked over on sweclockers, but noone answered me there so ill take my shot here. ive decided to build a computer for my girlfriend when its her birthday (cant stand how slow it is right now). im asking around because ive never built a cubecomputer before, and im not sure about all the clearance ill need. all i know about the computer right now is that it will run intel G3258 and will be overclocked atleast 1ghz what i need to buy: G3258 processorcooler cubechassi for mitx boards mitx motherboard wifi card (if the motherboard doesnt have it built into it) what i already own: two 2 or 4gb ram memories. ssd 3.5" mechanical harddrive should be stated: 1. the computer should be as silent as possible 2. the computer should be as cheap as possible 3. the chassi must have support for a graphicscard (in the future) after the wifi card is in (so atleast 2 pci ports?) 4. the smaller the computer is, the better 5. i might not be able to buy every part you tell me to, since i live in sweden and we dont have the same things as for example the states do. but please include those anyhow. i can substitute for them with things we have. im asking because i dont know how to pick a motherboard and cooler for this, ive never before needed to think about the length of the cooler and motherboard. thanks for all the help beforehand
  13. front facing speakers, how could phone compaines not get that we listen the way we watch it. not the other way around. i want it soley because of that. and the skin is amazing. id take only the skin if i had that phone. to me it screams quality, but it looks sooooo good and not trash like some of my own custom ordered ones are
  14. i love the cooler of the twin frozer one. overclocks very good with keeping its silence after overclocking and keeps cool without changing fan speeds. id go for msi myself if i didnt have a titan already
  15. best thing: "gaming" laptop that actually has a dvd drive. i wouldnt ever get a computer to game on that doesnt have a dvd drive. its a boss when traveling aswell if i dont wanna rip all my series and movies
