Hello everyone Archangel here, Here to announce my departure from this forum. Here's why: - CoC is not being upheld properly, not by any mod I see aside from a few extreme cases - Too many people are douchebags, there is disrespect everywhere and literally people just almost humilliate other forum members - You can barely say a single thing without someone implying "OMG YOU IDIOT YOU ARE DEAD WRONG X FANBOY" - You cannot have a healthy discussion about anything AMD/Intel/Nvidia without a cir This has been bothering me for a while and now I'm totally done. The only are only a few truly respectable people on this forum. While I do have some issues personally that "forced" me (So to speak) in a minor depression and the forum more easily creates stress in me whenever more shitposting/insulting/belittling/etc. happens it's also about a lot of the forum members being total jerks, having no principles/a code that they uphold. I don't really see the mods doing anything either aside from locking repost threads or removing the spambots. I see just about no attention given to BLATANT disregard of the CORE values of the CoC aside from the extreme situations of "Go jump under a train and do us a favor". TL;DR I'm done with how too many people act around here. Having multiple drivers in the same ear is detrimental. The drivers can interfere with each other,and can cause quality loss and other mean thing like that. A good pair of open headphones is better than whatever 7.1/5.1 headset can give you in terms of spatial awareness. I would go to the audio section here or go to head-fi and ask for a good pair of open-headphones and use a ModMic 4.0 with it or a condenser mic on a stand

@Razzaa The graphs you linked literally prove my point not yours. Bf4 and metro maxed, crysis on high instead of very high and fxaa instead of msaa You are comparing maxed bf4 to non-maxed c3. That's not how you should compare how demanding a game is

You clearly didn't read my post properly. I said it's not DIRECTLY related. Look at titanfall, that game goes up to 3gb of vram easily yet it's far from the most demanding game. Also C3 framerates are usually benched without msaa or even AA at all where with bf4 they take the ultra preset. Also go and be sarcastic all you want, vram is not a direct indicator of how hard it is to run a game

When I run any game maxed out and crysis 3 has the lowest framerate of all games (4790k and 970) I'd say crysis 3 is the most demanding yes. Also vram usage is not directly related to how demanding a game is to run.

Your point being that the rig is bad. It was already mentioned that zappian plays at lower than 1080p which means if it can run crysis 3 without issue then it should run ANY game without issue (or at least with little issue)

1. The pcpp link shows 6gb for me, you might have missed something 2. That i3 beats the fx-9590 in gaming. The i3 is more than capable enough. Mocking a more than capable enough cpu is pointless 3. It explains nothing. Crysis 3 is more demanding than DL, if that rig can rub crysis 3 ultra but dying light stutters a lot (and it wouldnt be the first case by far) then it's not the supposed lack of hardware at fault

The fact that you see an implication of idiocy as necessary just shows how little respect you have for others. Giving someone an out or implying an insult is never a good idea or necessary unless the situation is asking whether touching a capacitor on a powered/fully loaded psu is a good idea or something akin to that.
