  1. thanks a lot guys! it came with a 5 year warranty so i guess i'll stick to it for now.
  2. first of all, i'm sorry if my question has an answer in one of the stickies, i just can't understand the tech terms. if anybody here can explain, i'll be very happy to learn. hello everybody, it's been a long time since i bought my computer parts and i want to know if my PSU is still relevant today.since i'm having trouble understanding the terms on the tier lists i would like to ask specifically. ryzen 3900x with 5700 XT build. according to power consumption calculations i don't seem to need more than 550~600 watts. my current PSU exceeds that (@ 750w with 80 plus gold certification), but since it is 7 years old i want to make sure i don't miss any new technology it might not support, if that even works like that on PSUs. model: Seasonic S12G-750. 750 watts, 80 plus Gold. also added a picture with information on the PSU itself.
  3. thanks! i saw that one, for some reason thought it was reffering to a different cooler. anywya, i don't think i still have the brackets but i believe that's something i could buy online
  4. back in 2013/14 when i built my current station, i bought a corsair H100i for my overclocked FX-8350. now i'm looking to upgrade to a ryzen 3900x and trying to figure out if i could pass on the stock prism cooler. it's the first edition h100i (meaning not "pro" or "v2") and i managed to gather 2 pieces of info. 1st is that it's compatible with AM4 sockets and the 2nd is that for differences in the die architecture, the block itself isn't cooling the right parts of the CPU, making the entire setup basically irrelevant. since it's an old model i couldn't find benchmarks of it online, and wanted to see what i could expect before ordering a new CPU. thanks a lot! adding a picute to the h100i i own so to avoid confusion.
  5. Weird question: i got the m8 about a month ago (great phone btw) but evere since then 2 pairs of headphones got their r/l balance screwed (lg g3 and htc one m8 stock earbuds) for no apparent reason (i take good care of them). In fact, it got worse the more time went by. I'm trying to think weather or not it's the phone cause i'm kind of scared to buying a new pair...
  6. so yeah got the HTC one m8 yesterday, amazing phones, fast as lightning etc. but the battery seem to be kinda bad... i'm losing around 1% per minute of use. it was at 100% are 14:00 and it's 18:00 and the phones at around 81%. i was watching a movie and every now and then i popped it up to text with my friends on facebook. it's on wifi\data connection all of the time, and i was wondering if that's normal, or is it just the fact that this is a new phone and is downloading a lot of stuff in the background? my battery usage is this: 24% on sense home, 22% chrome browser and another 20% on android system and 20% on a different android thing. so yeah is this normal? i've heard this phone can last a day and even 2 days sometimes so i wanted to see how it is on other people's phone. thanks
