  1. Get a non-K CPU man, that 4690K is overclock-able. Get a cheaper 4690 (without the K), then you'll got money back to get the R9 290
  2. What chipset are you using mate ? That's what we want to know
  3. Well, if the build is specific for gaming then I would go with Core i5, that's about it. You wouldn't want to buy that FX CPU if you're got gonna OC it.
  4. I don't really have a preference here. Probably price-wise I'll go with MSI. But ROG has been there for a good while, plus my all-time favorite video card is actually this EDIT: Voted Asus
  5. Is he going to OC with that CPU ? I'm thinking about Haswell-refresh Core i5s, would be totally fine as well If you can find a good H97 board with gaming capabilities like strong on-board sound and networking and then pair it with a Core i5 = strong gaming PC right there
  6. One-of-a-kind rig ? I don't think there are much people running 3-way SLI GTX 465 lol Funny to see this man
  7. R9 290 a bit overkilled (although DayZ and ArmA 3 are quite hard to deal with I believe) ? I'm in it's fine anyway, you can go a bit down and get the 280/280X. Plus try getting a 990FX board since you are getting the FX-8000 CPU And this. Personally I really love Corsair products so. There you go mate
  8. Mainly gaming? Get the 4690K and R9 290X, will save you some costs versus going for the i7.
  9. Been always wanted to have a Sony smartphone, especially this one. Love the screen, the specs and the camera.
  10. Well at least things will be much smoother and pricing will be better on the road, unlike back in the early DDR3 days when the price gap is quite huge
  11. Well, every new generation of DDR when they just arrived are all so damn expensive you know
  12. Maybe, because of DDR4 being implemented. Still I won't have the money to afford that extreme platform in anytime. Better stick with Z/H platforms
  13. I would either choose Red or Brown switches
  14. Go with the K70 if you can dude. Otherwise wait for a bit longer for the RGB version. I wouldn't necessarily say those Chinese-made switches branded "Razer Gaming Mechanical Switches" are bad, but at least the original Cherry MX is still the best. lol
  15. I would suggest either the Razer DeathAdder or the Steelseries Sensei RAW. One best advice for you is to find a store where you can find and try gaming mice physically so you can get the feeling of it
  16. 1440p IPS/PLS panel. Since 4K doesn't interest me that much, hardware needs a bit more time for it, and TN doesn't look quite good like some guys said above.
  17. Really looking forward to this mouse. Such a catchy name and a cool technology involved into it. Probably waiting for more reviews to come
  18. I'm using a Kinzu v2 Pro Silver. Just plain simple mouse with 3 buttons, no extra side buttons whatsoever, nice optical sensor (max 3200dpi). Coupled together with a Qck cloth pad also from Steelseries. I mostly go with 800dpi/1000Hz while playing CS:GO, feels pretty good and catchy. I've been looking for a new mouse so, probably I'll keep an eye on this topic for a while I guess
  19. I will probably take the HyperX Cloud based on reviews.
  20. Either of those 2 are fine imo. Or you can just wait for the RGB version of the Corsair K70
  21. I prefer going to a store and try the mouse itself for a while then decide what to buy. It's really important imo
  22. Voted Dota 2 just because it's my choice of eSport game right now. Not too suprised that LoL and Dota 2 are on top. Personally I really love CS as well, back from even the 1.1 day, from 1.6 to Source and now Global Offensive
  23. i5 4670 with R9 290 is totally fine.
  24. If I was you I would go with the Deathstalker to, I'm using an Acer Aspire laptop with that same chiclet keyboard style, really love it. But however it's fine for me to use a regular PC keyboard, no need to get something like that.
