  1. Hi LTT comunity! I have a really anoying problem here. Very often when I start up my PC or restart my PC it goes through BIOS, loading screen and when finally the lock screen shows up it freezes. And when I restart it from freeze it goes just fine. I recently upgraded to SSD and I have clean installation of windows 8.1 PRO 64bit. I also checked for any faults of the SSD and there seem to not be any Does anyone know how to fix this or what's causing it? Here are my specs: 8320 4.3GHz 290 Windforce 3x 4GB m5a99fx pro r2.0 2x 4GB HyperX Blu 1600MHz (C drive)SSD HyperX Savage 240GB HDD - Seagate Baracuda 1TB 7200RPM Windows 8.1 PRO 64bit Thanks!
  2. Thanks, I'll go with 280 then. In GTA V it will benefit with 3GB. I can OC it anyway so I probably get even more performance than 285. PS: He will play 1080p most of the time and definitely GTA V
  3. Hi guys, I'm building PC for a friend and I can't decide what to pick, 280 or 285. I want the 285, because it is a bit more powerful than 280, but it has only 2GB VRAM. So what should I pick? Is 2GB VRAM still enough in 2015? PS: I have 290 and GTAV eats a shitload of VRAM around 3,2GB Thanks
  4. I disabled cool n quiet and AMP and it worked! Now I have the right frequency and I'll try to enable CnQ again as D3MON suggested Thanks a lot!
  5. Hi guys! I was just OCing my 8320 and I got 4.3 GHz stable. But when I tried to stress test it, you know just for the hell of it, I didn't get the set frequency and instead got 3,6GHz But in task manager I have that the max speed is 4,3GHz, but in stress test it just doesn't achieve it Do you know where the problem might be? Thanks
  6. Hi guys! I have an issue with my Fan Xpert controlling software which is included in AI Suite II with my MB, it reads wrong CPU temps. When I play CPU intensive games(like Star Citizen) it shows me that my CPU has 60C and that with my 212 EVO is ridiculous. So I looked up online and downloaded AMD overdrive which is recommended for accurate temp readings, and I was right, the CPU reached max 45C! So I looked up online again and found out that it reads socket temps which are not that accurate. SO I'm asking, can I do something so Fan Xpert will read the right temps? If the socket temps are too high(like 70C) is that okay because they are not accurate or is there any other danger? If not, can I just move the fan speed curve in Fan Xpert a few degrees so the fans will increase their speeds at higher temps? Thank you for all answers
  7. Hi all! I just got dell ultrasharp 2414h and I have it connected via DisplayPort cable to my R9 290. And I have a problem. Every time I turn the monitor off, the windows disconnects it like I would pull the cable out(makes the windows sound) And the result of it is that it "kinda" reconnect and installs again and the resolution changes and the icons are sometimes messed up. And even what sometimes happens is when I wake it up from sleep mode, the resolution changes to minimum and I have to manually refresh the available monitors in windows.(I have 8.1 BTW) So why is my monitor always disconnecting and what can I do about it? Thanks in advance
  8. I don't want 850 G2, because when I looked in the Techpowerup noise test, it was kinda bad. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/SuperNOVA_G2_850/7.html But the 750 version was fine though. Also how it is with that Corsair CS850M, is there something what would make you not recommend? And I just looked on Corsair RM 750 and it looks good too, but will 750W be enough to crossfire?(don't judge me I've never had CF or SLI )
  9. Hi guys, sorry for another post on the same topic I'm looking for PSU that is good quality and QUIET, because I'm not proud owner of M12II-620, and after I've upgraded to 290, this thing is a vacuum cleaner. And also I would like it ti have a crossfire capabilities and not for some ridiculous price. So I was adviced to go with EVGA 750 G2, but there is a problem with that, in my country it isn't sold anymore. So I'm looking for an alternative. I thought about Corsair CS850M, because in Techpowerup review it was good and really quiet(BTW that is a level of quiet I'm looking for, I know that PSU can't be noiseless), but there is one problem with this too, because in specs they write that it has 4PCIE, but I see only 2 connectors for them, so how is it with them then? Also I might sound crazy, but if you've ever had M12II-620 and put it under load, you know what I'm talking about So do you have any suggestions for me? My specs: 290 windforce 1078MHz + 8320 4.2GHz(plus crossfire in future if possible) Thanks in advice
  10. I will go with the G2 then. I've also seen others recommend it. But it will be shame for the M12II, because without the noise it's great PSU And as if I understand it correctly, the G2's fan will not spin until it hits certain temp, but what max RPM does the fan have(low 600-1000 or high like 2000)? Because it would be handy, if I decide if I want to upgrade in the future, to know if I have to upgrade the PSU too
  11. Oh, I didn't mean MAX load, but you know it's hard for me to tell, because I don't think I stress my current PSU to max. But the fact it is the loudest component in my build has to mean something. Also I tried to limit max power on GPU to 50%, still loud. So it's most likely to be stupid fan controlling profile on the PSU. So to put in to perspective, I would like some PSU, that is good quality and not loud with one GPU while gaming(for example Star Citizen) AND thank you everyone for helping me! It's hard to know every PSU
  12. Hi all! I'm looking for some solid QUIET PSU as replacement for my Seasonic M12II-620. Which works fine, but after my recent upgrade to R9 290, this thing gets so f****** loud under load. So I'm looking for one that is silent(and I really mean silent, because they've said that M12II is "super silent") under HEAVY LOAD. My system specs: FX 8320 4.2GHz GB R9 290 Windforce 8GB RAM 2x HDDs 5x Fans Someone recommended me EVGA G2 750W, but than I've read that it also gets really loud under load, so I don't know. So could you please recommend me a SILENT solid PSU for not some ridiculous price(I know I shouldn't cheap on PSU, but it doesn't have to be the most expensive one either ) THANKS
  13. I did install it with fan facing down. I thought about trying facing it up, because the noise would be inside the case, but the 290 is just too hot And I also heard from other forums that G2 750W is really good. But did you try it yourself? And is it quiet even under very HEAVY load?
  14. Thanks alot . But I have the same problem as someone wrote there. The PSU is great, modular, good quality, but the noise and I don't want to buy new one just because of that, but the noise is so F****** annoying. And you are right, because I tried to limit the power to 50% of the GPU(by driver) and it was still loud as f*** And isn't that a f****** irony that this "intelligent thermal fan control" actually does worse job than others And final question: How much do you thing is the PSU stressed with 8320 and 290 at full load?
