  1. Hey everyone, looking for a new monitor as my current Samsung monitor is slowly dying on me. Looking for 27" preferably curved. 1440p at least 144hz and with g-sync support. Been trying to do research on my own but it all seems rather confusing. Looking to spend maximum £260. Would really appreciate any help
  2. I'll try that when I get home. When opening cpu-z it had 1 stick running at xmp speeds and the rest were much slower which seemed odd to me
  3. Recently got a 5800x 3D to put with my 3090 and also upgraded to a x570 board. Ram is rated to run at 3600Mhz and will boot at those speeds but it seems every other reboot it fails and goes back to 2666Mhz its corsair vengeance and I have 2 2x8gb sets. Any insight would be highly appreciated
  4. Hi guys, currently have a rtx 3090 and 2700x was just wondering how bad the bottleneck would be at 1440p and what would be a good upgrade to get to not have a bottleneck. Thanks
  5. Hi, Just upgraded from a ryzen 7 2700x to a ryzen 5 3600x and when trying to boot my motherboard pops up with a vga light and fails to boot. I'm am on the latest bios for my MSI gaming pro carbon so not sure what is causing the issue. Tried resetting cmos and also removing my graphics card. Getting the same issue after doing both. Anyone got any ideas?
  6. Okay thanks. Set to 2933 and it made my overclock unstable somehow. Turn off the overclock and I'm running fine now.
  7. Hi guys, I have a ryzen 7 2700x and 32gb of vengeance pro rgb (4x8gb) on a x470 pro carbon motherboard. When trying to select either xmp profile 1 or 2 (3333Mhz and 3600Mhz respectively) the system fails to boot and sets the ram back to the default of 2666Mhz. When I was running 2 sticks of the same RAM I was able to set to 3333Mhz in profile 1 but had the same issue I'm having now in profile 2 which is the speed it's rated at. Anyone got any advice? I'm running the latest BIOS update
  8. No as you can see in the video they are the only 2 option available 20210119_105002.mp4
  9. the only selectable options are PC/AV and DisplayPort Ver. no other option will highlight
  10. System only allows me to exit the menu entirely. I'll see if I can find a firmware update
  11. Hi guys, As you can see eye saver mode and most of the settings on my monitor are greyed out on my Samsung C27JG5X. I've looked into OSD lock but apparently eye saver mode etc, should still work when OSD lock is enabled and holding down the Jog button for 10s or longer which turns OSD on or off appears to do nothing whatsoever. Tried plugging into partners PC and tried different ports on my graphics card to no avail. When I first purchased the monitor there were no issues at all. Only been in the last couple of months that the issue has presented itself. On a bit of a side note, as you can see on the first image randomly when turning my monitor on the left half will be completely black, this can be fixed by cycling through sources until coming back round to DP but was wondering if this could be the monitor trying to tell me its giving up on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, NINJA_F15H
