Wonderful idea but poorly implemented. What about turning the case into one big heat sink with heat pipes running through it? Plastic/silicon feet so it won't burn what it's placed on and can be picked up safely. A 760 that throttles down so hard is just useless.

TDP and power draw may not be the same thing, but high TDP and power draw always go hand in hand. For the past 2 generations AMD hasn't gone far with their TDP nor power consumption, and it's safe to assume the 300 series won't take a big leap either due to the need for water cooling. DJ_Deedahx has a point, for people who care about power consumption AMD isn't really the optimal choice right now.

Yes. Your computer will freeze/artifact/screen go haywire/black screen if you overclock too high. It won't damage anything as long as you haven't modified the BIOS and this is completely normal. Just dial the overclock back until it stops doing that.

Was watching 'The ULTIMATE Linus Tech Tips Studio Tour!' again and realised at 13:35 of the video in the storage cupboard, there is a box for a RODE NTG-2. So it's a NTG-2.
