No problems but it will result in a bit lower fps but I would strongly suggest OC'ing your cpu.

It depends on the game.. If the game is particularly cpu heavy then yes it will.. if the game is particularly GPU heavy, then it won't. As with everything, it depends on the uses.

But considering the OP has a 32"TV, and the age of the rest of the rig.. I would say a 970 or similar would be plenty

Also, everything you have is built for overclocking.. If your not then your doing it wrong.. You'll get 4.0Ghz out of a 950 pretty easy.. there are loads of yutube video's and guides.

nayyar_s reacted to LED_Guy in 27" Triple Monitors vs 34" Ultrawide Monitor for Gaming.
3x 27" monitors will take up about 6ft (72 inches) on your desk depending on the bezel dimensions.  Just the displays will give you 70.5 linear inches.  If you have the room I would go for that to get more of an immersion experience.

Having worked at the design level for displays, I would also ask how is your vision?  If you are 20/20 then the higher resolution might be worth it.  If you are 20/40 or worse then you won't really benefit from the improved resolution.

Apple "retina" class displays are named so because their resolution matches the retina of your eye.  Going to a higher resolution will look great on paper, but you won't notice unless you us a magnifying glass.

The key metric are pixel dimensions and viewing distance.  Close up 4K on a 50" display is not as good as 1080p on a 22" display.  That 6ft long display area will be further away than a single 34" . . .

Everyone knew this was only a matter of time. Very low energy requirements made GTX 970 very competitive solution. GeForce GTX 970 has great performance to price and performance to power consumption ratios. Making Mini-ITX version was inevitable, what we didn’t know is which company would be the first to release it.
Gigabyte GTX 970 Mini-ITX OC is using custom made PCB and custom cooling solution. Actually no one has seen reference GTX 970 board yet, so this could technically be  one of its variants, but Gigabyte’s model is the first to feature it.
Despite rather small form factor, Gigabyte GTX 970 is factory-overclocked. It comes with 1076/1216 MHz clocks, which is 25 and 38 MHz more than reference model. Thus, the TDP should be somewhere around 150W.
This newest addition to Gigabyte lineup is dual-slot and single-fan solution. Card is using the same fan design as other WindForce models. The fan is positioned right on top of the large heat sink with 3 copper plated heat pipes.
Gigabyte GTX 970 Mini-ITX is equipped with a single 8pin power connector. Last but not least, it has interesting set of display outputs: three DisplayPorts, HDMI, DVI-I and DVI-D (reference models do not have DVI-D connector), so there are no perforations on the I/O bracket, which may affect cooling efficiency.
According to Tom’s Hardware, this card will be available for $330.
