nothing real cheap is going to have 1/4"
I'd suggest finding a short cable adapter instead of the barrel adapter, that sennheiser includes, to reduce some of the stress on the jack.

fiio e10, e7, e17 or ibasso d-zero is about all I would recommend on the cheap side.

If you really want the 1/4" jack this is your best option http://www.mayflowerelectronics.com/desktop-objective2-headphone-amplifier.html
Otherwise go with the Fiio E-10

for current mid range games this is perfectly fine. but I would defiantly recommend investing in a quad core. windows 8 made more optimizations and next gen consoles are multi-core so devs are going to start making more optimizations. keep in mind there are quad-cores cheaper then the 3570k, this for example. or if you don't mind going amd the 4350 is the same price as the one you picked out here, this also gives you some overclocking room though i couldn't find much info on how well they oc and it has a higher TDP (possible mobo?). the parts you picked out are perfectly fine, just wanted to show you a couple options :D
