About 6 months ago, the original PSU from my computer died (Ultra 750W somethingorother).
I replaced it with a Corsair CX750M, great, problem solved.. or not
For the past month or two I have been having issues with my computer randomly crashing, no BSOD, just cut to black
Last week it got worse, it would crash, and then not turn back on for a while.
I finally opened it up last night and did a paperclip test on the PSU and got nothing, then I tapped the PSU and it turned on.
It would stay on for a bit, and then crash again. So basically the PSU is dead, Corsair should replace it that is not the problem
The issue I have is that to me, two dead power supplies in 6 months points to an underlying problem, I just have no idea what it could be...
