  1. I figured it would be easier to explain ,but then again it is a generalisation. EG. , old Vespa PX line has dog box engagement but you cannot do anything with the shifter till the clutch is depressed due to the way the gears are selected ( not a ratchet drum but a different kind of system im not versed in )
  2. They probably are but not all have a ratchet drum selector , thus dont go well without a clutch
  3. Bike transmissions in any newer bike are basically sequentials ( drum selector ). Clutch doesnt need to be used for upshifts , while on downshifts you need to use it .
  4. Nono , sandlbasting is for engine blocks and such , i dont even soda blast carbs , just a 15ish minute dip in the ultrasonic tub at 75.C in some industrial grade solvent . They come out like new .
  5. I need to DIY a sandblasting chamber , and then il pretty much have everything i need to rebuild 2strokes as a hobby . Btw , ultrasonic you got looks like a 3L model ? If so , you got the same one as i do , im happy to report it has earned its value ten-fold .
  6. Yup. 80L capacity model , 20L/min pump , has grates for smaller parts , drain plug on the bottom and does come with 4 legs and a bottom shelf to store stuff . EDIT : 100$ thru a local dealer
  7. Blue label would be one of the more exquisite blends iv tried .
  8. Batteries as such are unsafe yes , but a gas tank ruptured in a crash isnt any less of a fire hazard . And you got me wrong , i love petrol power , even though i daily a diesel .
  9. You sound like on of those people hwo had a Li-Po blow up in their face from their own incompetence . To be clear im no fan of EVs , but id gladly own one if charging stations were abundant here , since i mostly do city driving . For long range and "mileage" , EVs have a way to go ..
  10. Continuity is just a way of saying whatever is connected on on the other end of the wires is completing the circuit. If that is the case , then its expected you arent seeing any voltage , because its a short , and you cant have a potential difference (voltage) if you are measuring the same point.
  11. For every occasion , there is a proper tip. And just like a 10mm socket you cant find it when you need it.
  12. I mean , you can get those fancy CNC ones with funny shapes , if blunty isnt the way you wanna go
