is 60+FPS better? yes, but that doesn't make 30FPS games unplayable

and it's not because of how many bits/pixel but because the video card has to do tonemapping twice, Windows currently is not fully HDR aware

but, consumer grade mobos don't behave that way

the consumer version ones, at least, are pure overpriced shit and I avoided them unless client specifically wanted one

pure sine is recommended for general purpose use when putting other equipment on that UPS - some equipment can behave erratically or simply shut down / lock up
but sim sine won't make a difference when used with PCs

For me it's the software.  Realtek's control panel is complete and utter dog shit and has zero features.  Soundblaster > HT > Dog Shit > Realtek.

A. You need optical and your motherboard doesn't have it.
 
B. You have very very bad onboard or dead onboard and you are only willing to spend 30$.
 
Also all that 32bit 192kHz and whatnot doesn't matter, for stereo all you need is your normal 16bit 44.1 kHz, for surround sound the higher bitrate would matter, but if you use such a card for surround sound, then you are probably just using one of the bad logitech sets.
