    Windows already does that by its own again, it's called pagefile or virtual memory if you want to call it that - do some research and PS: it's not a substitution for actual available physical VRAM if your work requires a lot of VRAM you need a card that has that much VRAM

    source: http://www.gamersnexus.net/news-pc/3005-amd-moving-away-from-crossfire-with-rx-vega this is not entirely unexpected game developers and game engine developers have shown little to no interest in supporting multi-GPU configurations, so this shouldn't be of any surprise the baffling thing is that DX12 MS went out of their way to support and implement mixed GPU setups in the API, although no one actually has a game engine that supports it my guess is that few generations from now, SLI and CFX will be removed altogether

    except it's not the TIM that is the problem, it's the z height between the die and the IHS but, no matter how many times this is told and repeated, here, on Anand and everywhere else ... you blame the TIM
