  2. I like everything, as my build could use all of that lol. My favorite would have to be the CPU cooler. I have my CPU overclocked 800mhz on the stock cooler. Not safe. But its working I guess.
  3. Hmmm. Thanks for the replies, guys. I guess I'll keep playing with settings to get it as good as I can...
  4. I just hand-built my first gaming rig. It was to my understanding that the GPU is much more important than the CPU for gaming performance, so I got a very cheap CPU (X4 760K) for my machine. Then, I proceeded to affix an R9 270X Twin Frozr from MSI. I just wanted to know if my CPU was holding my GPU back, because I feel I should be getting more than 25 FPS on the DayZ mod and 40 on Minecraft. I have played with settings for both like crazy, and its just making me angry trying to toy with them because they do almost nothing unless I minimize everything. The minecraft frames are so inconsistent though. I have fluctuated from 18 to 211 on the same settings, but for the most part hovered between 30 and 50. System Components: Asus A88X-PLUS MOBO 8gb Corsair Vengeance clocked at 1866mhz Athlon X4 760K Stock Cooler MSI Twin Frozr R9 270X Corsair CX600M Semi Modular PSU WD Blue 1TB HDD all wrapped up in a Bitfenix Shinobi Windowed case. 2 Corsair SP120 Purple LED fans, as well as the two that came stock.
  5. Thanks for the quick replies. Annoys me that I kind of just wasted some money but whatever. I'll just run my laptop hard drive that has win7 until I can buy another SSD. Again, thanks for the help.
  6. Hi guys! I'm fairly new into the hardware of computers, and Linus says in many videos that this is a friendly community, so I decided to start here. I just bought a SanDisk ReadyCache 32gb SSD because it was very cheap for my upcoming first build, for which I will be purchasing the rest of the parts this Friday. I just thought about the fact that this is a caching SSD, so it writes the most commonly used programs to it automatically. I was planning on using this fro my boot drive, and have no idea if I could install my Win8 to it. If anybody can tell me if this would still work, I would much appreciate it. I would also like to know if I could maybe wipe the software or whatever makes this SSD cache things by itself. Thanks!
  7. My favorite thing(s) are the massive battery because I'm still stuck on the galaxy s3, and its 3 hours isn't cutting it. I also love the trim bezels and the inclusion of a microsd slot. Looks like a solid phone, but there are a few things im skeptical about. Would love to give the G3 a spin.
