The exact methodology of the "hack" won't be disclosed for obvious reasons, but I can assure you that despite any claims to the contrary, the appropriate safeguards were in place on our side, and as I type this Yvonne is having a very heated phone discussion with the 3rd party responsible for the breach.
 
Anyway, the thing most of you are probably wondering about right now is what this means for your forum account or personal information, and the answer is very simple:
 
NOTHING.
 
The "hacker" simply changed the DNS settings in the dashboard and did not at any time have access to the linustechtips.com server. Any claims of a database dump are categorically false.
 
The compromised accounts - including Twitter - have been restored.

Introduction:
Back in February of 2015 I happened upon a CoolIT Freezone elite for about $20 as well as some water cooling gear for another $20 from the same guy. I thought great then I went home and found out that both the installed pump and the replacement pump for the Freezone were dead and the water block designed for 775 Pentiums. Fast forward a year I find a 1156 quad core server for $30 that I give to a friend and the guy throws in a "worthless" pentium server with it. A month later a plan dawns on me.. also anyone want cardboard case to make a comeback?

Cooling: Freezone Elite 250w AIO Chiller (1/4" barbs). Laing pump (1/2" barbs). Thermaltake Aquabay M3 res (1/4" barbs). Swiftech storm block (3/8" barbs. 1/4" If I spend $4 but why would I?). 120mm rad (1/4" barbs?)
Hearing protection: 2x human fingers
Excuse for having the fingers: 1x proof of insanity

Recently I said "no" to this question due to there being ads on a premium service and it just not being enough of a value. Removing ads helps, however I still don't see the value. If they fixed their crappy website(slowwwww) and gave more options like offline play, music, live streaming, etc. then I would consider it, but for now, nope.

they need to offer a bit more for me to start paying for it. also @Enderman if i want to support ltt i would rather donate through the forums (which i may start doing) not pay over vessel where they take a cut.

most include a r9 380 and then some cheap ram, pentium or amd cpu
