  1. Ive been benchmarking my new SSD and their seems to be a problem as the read and writes are correct but IOPS are miles off. It is in a MSI B550I Gaming Edge wifi with a 3900X. Is their a random setting I've messed up.
  2. I feel like I did good when I got 3 years of xbox live and upgraded it to game pass on pc and console for £1 now. I've already had my moneys worth just with the Outer Worlds and Metro Exodus.
  3. Right brace yourselves for my recollection of physics and chemistry. E = hν 100GHz 5G 6.62607004 × 10-34 x 1 x 1011 = 6.626x10-23 J 10EHz Gamma Ray 6.62607004 × 10-34 x 1 x 1019= 6.626x10-15 J Right so the ionization energy of Francium is 400kJ/mol but lets look at a single atom So 400000 / 6.022 x 1023 = 6.6423 x 10-19 J ^ Amount of energy required at absolute minimum for ionization to happen. I was being ridiculously generous by the way, your body is harder to ionize.......
  4. I remember the 1080 at £649 right until the 1080ti came along at £649.... Seems like they figured it doesn’t matter anymore we want all the monies. Im like 80% sure this is so they keep the profitability cryptomining gave them without cryptomining being a big thing anymore. Profits not increasing every year makes sad shareholders ?
  5. It’s more the € to £ thing that annoys me as we have the same amount of sales tax ~20% so in terms of the $ to £ thing it’s basically the same before tax. Family plan before tax USA = $17.99 UK = £14.39 = €16.37 = $18.95 France €14.39 = £12.69 = €16.65
  6. Looks like google finally got around to expanding YouTube Red YouTube Premium. Unfortunately for those that live in the U.K and Europe, Google has it's own special exchange rate of $=£= €, and for the lucky Canadians $=$. Pricing My thoughts as someone who watches a lot of YouTube on a smart TV that can't block adds are pretty simple..... I bought it already. Sources The Verge
  7. Is it illegal to respond to a document like this by literally wiping your behind with it and sending it back...
  8. The original news source now a days is Twitter, well at least for the mainstream trashy media so it looks like Twitter will turn some record profits....
  9. Well 3.7GHz was all I could knock out without getting into the uncomfortable voltage department, RAM stable at 2933. I suppose if I can get the thing to 4.3GHz and run the RAM at 3200 like it should that’d be solid enough for me to go for it.
  10. If it’s 10% better than a 1700 I’ll buy it, mainly because I have new custom sleeved cables to install due soon and if I’m taking stuff apart I might as well upgrade something.
  11. I’d look at the reviews for individual cards for temperatures but my Vega 56 that I flashed with a Vega 64 bios runs at 83C on standard and 76C on power saver. This is with the reference cooler and in a M-ITX build, but frankly if you put a big enough cooler on any card it’ll stay cool. In terms of a RX 580 I had a PowerColor 580 Red Devil gold that had a beast cooler that kept it below 60C. If my current build can stay cool then an decent RX 580 should be fine.
