  1. So I'm assuming then CAM is screwed up cause it's new?
  2. I tried a few different software and they all gave me different readings, but the cam software was 30c over the next reading.
  3. I recently installed and started using NZXT's Cam software I have really liked it but I'm finding my cpu temps are ridiculously high. I'm using an Antec H20 630with artic silver 5 with push pull on the rad. My temps are hitting as high as the mid 90s c! What do I do?
  4. My Antec kuhler h20 came with some adhesive backing which was damaged when I changed it my cooler. this piece suits between the back plate and the mobo. Any suggestions on replacing it? Do I need to buy more of the same or can I use something else.
  5. Ya. Found out that what I'm hearing is the hdd.
  6. Ok. Have a Audio-Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier. I see my problem is that this thing is omnidirectional, right?
  7. So I am recording some video in my room and my rig has been silenced as much as possible. I am still, unfortunately, picking up a ton of whine from my hdd. I've been taking the audio out of my video reducing the noise in audacity and putting it back in. Unfortunately, this is taking up more time than I would prefer. Is there anything I can do to reduce the residual noise?
  8. So i tested all the fans and none of them seemed to be carrying the sound. My guess: hdd. Did replace the aio with a hyper 212 plus i had laying around. Did get a few dba quieter but not much. Reading Anandtechs review on this case I don't believe I'll be able to get much more. I might put the aio back in but this time to cool my 580 w/ a kraken g10. I dont know anymore.
  9. H230. My bad. Yea, and I noticed the quote thing after I made the post. Thanks.
  10. I appreciate your post, but please read my post in its entirety before you comment. The h20 has sound dampening padding. The antec 620 is a watercooler and it doesn't have software to control the fans.
  11. Not sure if this is the right category to post this, but I am looking for help with optimizing the sound from my rig. Running a 6800k with a 1tb toshiba and 120gb ocz vertex iii antec kuhler h20 620 I just picked up a nzxt h20 because i thought my fractal core 1000 was just too loud. I do some video recording and I am having to pull the audio out and get rid of the background noise and then edit it back into the video. I want to reduce the noise my rig is making but I cant get it much lower than 40 dba. I always here people talking about silence optimizing there systems but not how to do it. I have my fans running low but that hasn't seemed to fix the problem. What else can I do to quiet my system? .
  12. So I came back to check on the post and apparently I've been missing a ton. So I decided to run some extra tests just to be sure. Have some cheap ies laying around you I tried those (hope you guys are happy cause I hate having to move everything just to get to the back of my case ). IEs struggled in the same place (test was done at the 2:00 mark on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co4YpHTqmfQ). Testing both pairs then on my HTC One M8 and found that the sound was much louder on the M8 as well as being clearer and (I guess) punchier. I ordered the sybla 'cause it's only a few bucks more and doesnt fill up one of the two slots on my mobo.
  13. Well, thank you all so much. I really appreciate it. Got the m30s cause I wanted something that was better than all the cheap ies I usually got. I'll probably get the sybla cause I do want a better sound experience as the m30s dont really satisfy my bass requirements so down the line I'll upgrade. Thanks again.
