I have a hard time seeing a subscription model for that type of game working even today. Assuming the road map for Battlefield 3 would've been the same.

GPU was the problem. Bought a new one and it's working fine. Gotta do something with the other one...

I have a hard time seeing this being caused by your internet connection, assuming you're not only encountering it while playing online. I'm also assuming there are no other errors or symptoms showing, crashes, BSoDs and such
 
Clearing graphics drivers would definitely  be a first step, you can do this with DDU. Then you simply download and install your drivers again.
 
The issue is unfortunately rather diffuse so instead of starting to troubleshoot hardware I would reinstall Windows, if new drivers doesn't help. You'll find the options under  Settings > Update & security > Reset this PC > Get started.

just did the CMOS reset and got nothing. i still have yet to try the PSU on its own. i appreciate all the help guys.

If you've already tried starting the installation process again, and it keeps failing I would try a different installation media. You can create your own by downloading Microsoft's tool from www.microsoft.com/software-download/ , you will of course need a USB drive. 
 
If you you're still running into the same issue with the new drive then we have a variety of trouble shooting steps.
1.) Would be to cross-check your memories. Simply run one at a time, if you have several. Or you could try swapping DIMM slots.
2.) If this doesn't help, then start excluding potentially faulty USB ports/devices. When the installation has started, unplug any USB device that is connected.
3.) Last step would be running the computer in a minimal configuration. Integrated graphics, if you have any, one RAM stick, no additional SATA, I/O or front panel cables attached.

EDIT: Forgot one of the obvious steps; if you have another SSD/HDD. Try installing Windows on one of those instead.

This will get replaced/repaired, no issues what so ever as long as the monitor doesn't have any external damage. 
Give LG, one of their service providers or your reseller a call.

Use a card company program and see. Afterburner, precisionx, gputweak. Could be a bad sensor.

The lack of 3 and 4G reception would be quite annoying indeed. Also the lack of apps and any form of cloud storage, why hasn't this been mentioned?

What else would you look for?

I know you asked for one game, but here are the 7 ones I would prioritize first, the rest have I either not played or was not put over another. 

So Oddworld Abe's Odyssey just so happened to be the first game I ever played and I still love it. With an HD remake called New 'n' Tasty coming out this spring I was hoping to get a discussion going. Your thoughts and expectations on the game or on the new design decisions that has been made, having the camera follow your character instead of having separate screens making up a level for example.
 
Anyways, I'm super stoked for it, are you? Here's for hoping it lives up to its name instead of being something...
