    So it's like this - 
     
    1) The installer tried to do what it should but had some unknown problem
    2) You forced a reboot (therefore the installer did not finish properly) 
    3) What you should do now is what I posted in the first place: Reinstall or check the hardware from a different OS.
     
    (BTW., the screenshot looks like the same problem Linus had in one of the scrapyard wars videos ;] )

    Actually contrary to what others are saying you should use the proprietary driver.
     
    For everything else the open source drivers are usually good but for gaming they usually don't work. Especially with newer games.
     
    To install it use this command:
    sudo apt-get install fglrx Then this if you want the graphical CCC
    sudo apt-get install fglrx-amdcccle

    The load may be different, the PSU might be different, the temps might be different. All in all @Tetters seems to be on the mark.

    Do you have access to any OS on a thumbdrive? The only thing I can think of right now is to startup from a different OS, navigate to the problematic windows installation, locate the file "hiberfil.sys" and rename it, then reboot and test out. This SHOULD let you do something more... If not, I am very sorry but it seems beyond my ability to help ;(

    That's rather irrelevant... the fact that the OS won't start without a display is a problem. 
    @Deses, are you able to test the setup with any other connection method? HDMI? DVI? D-SUB even?
