  1. Because in Melbourne a train is not an option unfortunately. You either have to take a coach/bus, taxi/ride share or drive. There are plans for a Rail Link but construction isn't scheduled to start until 2022 at best and it will be a decade before it's finished. So even if Uber is running on "Elon Time" they will probably beat the train.
  2. Just do what Jay did and as a bonus it will also cool you down (as long as you exhaust the hot air outside)
  3. I would say "Abnormal home use" a sharehouse full of gamers or a family who games and let's through a few concurrent Netflix/YouTube/PrimeVideo streams on top
  4. Hey Guys and Gals At this point this is more of a thought experiment but may lead to upgrades down the line. Also please note I'm leaving WiFi out of this discussion on purpose as I'm a Firm believer in running dedicated APs because I don't need the headache and family constantly pestering me about bad WiFi. So as stated for a home network would you go with an Overkill Router and regular old unmanaged switches or a more reasonable Consumer/Prosumer Router and Overkill Managed/Layer 3 Switch? I look forward to your informed opinions, now fight ?
  5. Currently running a ROG MARS 760 x2 an upgrade would be nice and they actually make water blocks for the 480 so I could get my gpu wet and kill some more noise
  6. Mmmmmmmm MARS. I'm still running a MARS 760 in a mATX build so just patiently waiting for MARS 4
  7. Love the led lamp and the throw distance, movie marathons would be awesome
  8. Reminds me of some of the after market coolers for the 480 and other cards at the time like this. http://www.anandtech.com/show/3637/quick-look-thermalright-spitfire-vrmr5
  9. I have the LG 25UM65-P and I like it in my set up with an older 1920x1080 benq next to it
  10. small and compact is always handy and it has plenty of go under the hood for most activities
  11. keyboard looks sleek and solid and the headphones look great too
  12. Why not integrate the gpu dock into a monitor and just run one thunderbolt cable between the monitor and laptop. The power supply can power the gpu and lcd panel. Less cables boxes and clutter
  13. Ok cheers I'll just keep an eye on it then while I'm here you don't happen to remember the TJ max or whatever the max temp equivalent is for this chip do you?
  14. Hey guys I've got a new rig and am starting to tinker with an overclock on my fx 6300 which is being cooled by a silverstone nt-06 pro and the temps on the cores are quite varied I'm guessing it's a bad cooler mount thoughts?
  15. Is the 128 bit memory bus enough to take advantage of the 4GB?
