Been doing IT Support and Consultancy for 30 years and I would have to google that error. Its not a sign of no knowledge, just its a very large topic! Its often knowing where to look for an answer rather than knowing of the top of your head!

Does anyone my age (44) or older ever look at there IT and think... I am in My own Future.... like startrek game true minus the space bit.. My first computer was a zx81..(with 16k Ram Pack!! ) I just look at my desktop PC at work with 2x27" and 1x22" monitors and think shitballs... its awesome!

So we have a designer / E publisher using Adobe Indesign and some video editing moving forward. is there any benifit to Quadra over GTX?

I am trying to explain why we cannot have a virtual router for our physical network, why its bad to plug the internet connection into our core switch and run a virtual router. Apart from it being a bad idea due to traffic flooding the switch, what security issues does it pose, I know there are lots but im not a network engineer and cannot articulate them. Any help would be great Thanks Stephen

We are happy to upgrade just wondering what to, want something relatively user friendly. As we are not networking experts

So our head office has 100/100 fibre and 7 subsites with anything from 10Mbs to 50Mbs. All connected via Lan2Lan vpns all drayteks. So my question is should I be upgrading the head office draytek to something more enterprise focused? We seem to be getting so random latency on remote apps on some sites, and it doesnt seem to relate to bandwidth. Should I be looking at something like a Juniper router? Any suggestions?
