I usually use a GParted bootable USB. Works fine for most disk management and Windows won't get in your way.
Download the ISO from their website and use Rufus to turn it into a bootable USB stick (you need a spare USB stick of course).

Why do they have Anker stuff? I though they would no longer buy their stuff because of the whole camera privacy disaster.

I was stupid enough to do that once!
Thing got infected in 2 days by a RAT, how i figured that out? Because my computer suddenly decided to open the firefox password vault, which was luckily empty.
Literally pulled the plug and nuked it, I'm thankful they didn't go for my lastpass vault. Never again will I run without an antivirus. It's not worth the performance bump.

@AlexTheGreatish Why didn't you just go the intel way?
Massive water chiller and off you go!

Also I still belive that a TEC cooler can work, but not like this.
What you can do is get 2 loops.
1 loop is connected to the cold side of multiple lower-powered TEC's (more info below) so you don't just have a cold baseplate but an actual cold sub-ambient loop with water that needs anti-freeze because you could easily pull the whole loop into negative C. And another loop that is connected to the hot side with that massive rad (maybe even more) to keep the hot side happy.
So, why get more TEC's? Because you were very likely hitting a thermal transfer limit with your current setup. If you use multiple TEC's that are lower power you can spread out the heat so it can be transfered easier from the TEC to the loops.

TL:DR do it again but instead of 1 TEC, use more of them but lower power and instead of whacking a baseplate on it and mounting it straight onto the CPU, make a loop of it.

Suggestion: Get one of your staff that isn't tech savvy (maybe a nice challenge for Sarah) and go to your local whatever store where average joe would buy a TV and let her buy HDMI cables. Maybe it's even a good idea to go full secret shopper and ask for advice from a sales rep and see what cables she brings back.

Even tech ppl like most of us probably had at least once the moment where they were like "damn I really need X cable RIGHT NOW'' and it would be very useful if we knew what to get from the local store that would both work properly and not break the bank.

You can warn them as much as you want, if they don't wanna hear it then they won't.
You tried to educate and warn them but if they don't want to listen, don't put more time and energy in it.

If they end up losing important data, that's their loss. Just make sure your setup is actually decent.
If it's work related. Get it all in writing (CYA) and get in (digital) writing they accept the potential risks of not executing/following your advice.

Just make sure you have it written down somewhere! Once they accept taking responsibility, it's no longer your problem/worry.

That very last question about a conflict with savegames is something that we already know.
It will just ask which save is the right one. Had that happen a few times in the past.
Steam will just give you the 2 dates of the savegames and ask you if you want to keep the local one or the cloud one.

If u notice the time from the cloud one isn't what you expected because the steam deck didn't sync, you just cancel the sync, turn on your steam deck, let it idle for a few moments (it will sync in the background and afaik it won't always tell you it's syncing, if it does it shows as a download) and then u can launch the game again on your other device. You'll see the cloud sync date is correct now so u sync that and off u go!

Or if u notice your progress isn't there you need to let your steam deck sync too.

    Also few suggestions:

How do you update the OS?
How do you install steam OS after an SSD swap?
    What about backups?
What about the BIOS? Anything interesting there?

And if you just wanna remote into your server locally, it's free!
    https://www.splashtop.com/personal
I mean, if you just want to get started that's ideal. Make sure you get the hang of it in your own home and once the basics work fine and you want to do remote stuff from anywhere, then you can easily upgrade.

Also there's teamviewer which, yea... It's free but it can be very nagging. Also really bad customer support so if you are actually planning to pay for it, probably not what u want.

For the people confused by the HD thing, if you wanna bleed your system you usually powercycle it a few times.
It was also known that sudden shutdowns while booting windows could mess it up beyond repair. This is XP days we are talking about and broken installs because of improper shutdowns especially during boot were a lot more common than you would think.

So to avoid this, you would disconnect your HD so you can power cycle as much as you want without risking bricking your OS.
