Does I5 13600 needs aftermarket cpu bracket?
DoctorNick replied to Alan.Yoseph's topic in New Builds and Planning
Overclocking void the warranty as well, still if you keep the old socket mounting, you can simply mount it again before sending the motherboard in for RMA. There's no way to tell if it was taken off, also if you bent the CPU you might void as well -
Ok. So before you installed the AIO it didn't work, then its still that issue most likely. Short CMOS pins with a screwdriver, either with PSU on or OFF. (Check manual before). If it still dosen't work, remove both sticks and plug one in A2, turn on PC
-
I still don't get it. Did you enable expo in ryzen master before installing AIO or after?
-
Perfect. Ok so let me get this straight. You changed the cooler. After the PC booted and you enabled expo? Or was that before you changed the cooler? Either way you might want to reseat the cooler and the CPU in the socket

Makes sure ram is seated in slot A2 and B2

Exactly my thought. After looking into it, then I'm shocked this isn't talked more about. Haven't had an Intel CPU since 9th gen. -

Does I5 13600 needs aftermarket cpu bracket?
DoctorNick replied to Alan.Yoseph's topic in New Builds and Planning
Is millimeters not micro. @Alan.YosephA contact frame is worth it imo, it's pretty cheap and you'll be able to get better cooling from a cheap cooler: Thermalright LGA1700-BCF BLACK or V2 Edit: Just wanted to add this: -
Alright. First what hardware do you have in the system now vs then. Ram speed etc

Is 69% fan speed good enough to handle 75 degrees when gaming?

the difference between budget and high end cases(?)
DoctorNick replied to Sky_Fire's topic in Cases and Mods
Obviously the Hyperion is made for water cooling and got a lot of space. The price is mostly looks. The MSI is cheap, but great value for what you get. I would go with a case that is in between the two. First consider what you want from the case. Do you want air cooling, water cooling or AIO support. Do you want glass panels or just black solid ones, etc. More expensive cases has better dust filters usually. If you want air cooling and good looks with no RGB, maybe the fractal torrent is for you: https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/torrent/torrent/black-solid/
