  1. It would be more helpful if you provide what device you were actually looking to purchase. This is because there are difference between the different implementations of the processor.

But in general the Core I series CPUs have better performance and more power consumption compared to Core M CPUs. This is more important if you are using applications that require more processing power. For regular use, such as sending emails, taking notes, watching videos, etc., the hardware around the processor will be more important, like having more RAM or an SSD.

yeah im aware ssd would be much better, but its just for and old laptop, and looking for an hdd for around 20-40 bucks

If you are in the US you can grab 128GB SSD for about 40$ but you need more space you can buy the highest capacity 7mm drive.

Okay, how do I set it as default?

It is nice and simple, install it from the playstore/APK and then when you click a link it will ask what browser you want to use, and just select chrome and shit always.

Also if you want a performance boost and update custom ROM is the way to go, you can get to Marshmallow which would be a huge jump.

  4. Your build is a little skewed. The GPU is really low end. I don't know why it is like that. I just whipped this up.

  5. Your PC is just very old. You can fix this but honestly I would get a new PC. If you spend around 450$ you should be able to get a good enough gaming experience.

Something I just put together. I would carry over the HDD, it may be slow but it will still do the job for some games. Should be snappy enough and get decent framerates.

not sure about AMD card for his system, that cpu isnt that powerful

might not be able to handle the cpu overhead

But would he still not have the same problem with the 960? Plus isn't he going to get more performance if he upgrades?
