I think it sort of depends on your mobile carrier/ samsung. I wasn't getting any updates from mine (was stuck on like 4.1.2) I installed cyanogenmod and I'm currently on 4.4.2 (I get updates all the time now.) My phone is galaxy note 2

Yes, it's about whether your brain can interpret / recognize the difference. Linus put up a video of him vs a newbie to see who could recognize the difference between 60hz and 120hz Linus (who has experienced it before) could easily tell the difference "like night and day" But the newbie (who hadn't) had some trouble distinguishing the 2. So it's kind of like training your brain. Another example is how driving at 35mph feels a lot slower than normal after driving at 70mph. Your brain is used to things wizzing past at a reasonably fast pace, but when you slow down things seem to go in slow motion a bit.

HDMI and DisplayPort sometimes have problems working when there's a change in monitors. I don't know why, it just happens. Use DVI or VGA on gpu. If that doesn't work, remove gpu and use the display output on your motherboard (if you have one) On you monitor (when your computer is booting up) use the auto source button (it will toggle between analog/digital connections and try to get a video feed from the pc) If you're already using DVI or VGA and it's still not working, strip your computer down to the basics (only motherboard, ram, cpu connected) If that doesn't work, test it again on a different monitor / TV. If that doesn't work, then something it faulty.

What OS you running? Are your gpu drivers up to date? Someone else has a similar problem from a wacom tablet service running at the same time. They disabled the service and after effects loaded up. If you don't have a wacom tablet.. then.. i don't know lol.

I hope the problems settle down for your country soon. No one, who has lived in the world of free speech and has had the freedom to access information, would want to live in a place where you are being limited and controlled like in North Korea. Now I know that things in your country aren't as bad as some other places, but who knows how the government will act, right? So lets hope things don't get worse.

Yes you're right, I shouldn't have made the assumption. It's just that from the way I grew up I don't understand why people would want to take other peoples stuff. Did you give the pens back after you asked to borrow them? or did you just feel a need to have them or something? Another question:Have you been caught for stealing? or been in trouble for that kind of thing

It's a lot harder to teach someone to give than to not steal. I agree people should be taught to give, but being a nice person and giving will not protect them when they steal things. Kids (and even adults) tend to understand that being friends, giving, etc etc are good things... and even then, they may understand that stealing is a bad thing, but not everyone understands the consequences. I'm not talking about the old-old days where kids got the cane if they got an answer wrong. In a situation where a kid does something horribly wrong and doesn't feel guilty about it (or even doesn't think it's wrong), then that kid needs to be dealt some negative feedback on his/her actions. When a kid grows up stealing things his/her whole life, one day they will get into a lot worse trouble than getting a smack by his/her mom. Whether it's from the law, or someone on the street / a gang member could kill them. To the parents out there: This is what happens when you don't beat your kids. By smacking your kids when they do something bad teaches them that there are repercussions when you do bad things. Then they grow up thinking they can do whatever they want. Of course it's the kids fault that they are doing something bad, but it's also the parents fault for not teaching them the ways of life.

Hold the mouse wheel down, move mouse, then release when you want to stop scrolling. That method is a lot easier than aiming for the scroll bar.

True. I think it comes down to the whole "can your eyes see more than 60fps" all over again. Personally I think you will notice a difference.

get a 750w if you're planning to expand (have 2 gpus down the track) - still won't even need 750w but it'll be there for you
