I think the HDD is not formatted. Follow these steps. 1. Go to control panel>System and Security>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management 2. Select the HDD top be formatted. 3. Select how much you want to partition the drive then start the disk formatting. 4. When finished check again your My Computer Window. You should see your HDD now.

Try this. 1. Power on the PC 2. Hold the power button till it turns off 3. Remove the power cables while still holding the button then wait for about 1 min. 4. Connect the power cable then try to power on. Also check the ram sticks.

sounds like it needs replacement for me. BTW how much is the rated power of your PSU? How much load (in Watts) are connected? If you have to purchase a replacement check first how much power your pc takes. In a good practice power supply needed must be >120% of the power requirement and you may add some more if want to consider an OC.

You may also want to check the laptops storage. Usually SSD's consume less power.
