P.P.S. In seriousness, I do think mechanical keyboards can be bloody expensive for what you get, but I wouldn't trade my Corsair K70 with brown switches for anything. If scissor switch is what you like, than don't let anyone tell you you're wrong. It's all down to preference. That's one thing that I actually think cherry switch keyboards are good for, there are pretty much switches for everybody, and no one can be wrong in their preference. But this does extend to ther keyboards and switch types (except membrane lol) if you like the short travel distance and feel of scissor switch, then go for it.

This might not be the answer you were looking for, but, if you are running 8.1, I would just upgrade to 10. It's basically the same, but with an actual start bar. And the whole security thing isn't much better on 8.1 than 10, so I don't really see a downside. I would only reccomend refusing the update if you are still running W7 and want to avoid all those security concerns.

Yes, I actually found the same issue in my Windows update and contacted Windows support and they said that the update failed becuase it hasn't rolled out to me yet and I just need to wait.
It's frustrating, but I guess this is how they've chosen to do it. I think I would rather them do it this way than them try to roll it all out at once and the have the thing be horribly broken.

Not to say I don't like Ducky, I think they make brilliant keyboards and am so glad that they are making MX RGB products, but the whole simple thing is the reason I wouldn't get one. I love the design of the K70, it looks amazing and the media keys are really good, best volume wheel ever. Also, I've never actually held a ducky, but I feel like you can't get better build quality than the full Aluminum construction of the corsair.
 
But that's all personal opinion really, for any of my friends who look for a clean and simple mechanical, I always point them towards ducky.

Really, if i'm honest, Corsair keyboards actually look pretty civilized. Better than Razer, which has gamer written all over it

I've never been a fan of Corsair's keyboards. I just think they look rather tacky and a bit too "gamery" to me, compared to a Ducky keyboard. Though, even with that said, Filco masterrace.  

Quite a bright idea, I hope It radiates into the entire space industry.

Company's don't really create hype, it's the people, the fans and media that do.
AMD's previous CEO Rory Read admitted that Bulldozer was a failure, even though it was not conceived under his tenure. He brought in Mark Papermaster who in turn brought in Jim Keller the designer of the first ever 64bit x86 CPU and the original Athlons that beat out intel. He knows what he's doing.
Bulldozer aside, Hawaii was a phenomenal success for AMD. It was smaller, better performing and more capable for professional compute applications than the GTX Titan, yet it was prices at half. Even a year later it was still going strong.

It has had millions of more concurrent players than just 1million... 7.5million concurrent players was recorded back in 2013/early 2014 and it has only grown since then.

I had this same problem, you have to enable the Steam Build 2.0. Right click dark souls>Properties>Betas>[On the drop down box, select Steam Build 2.0]

Short answer - yes.
It's not always about "performance" and things like that. While I do feel like I can type quicker on my mech the reason why I think it was worth it is because I love how it feels. Simple as that. If I'm honest... I'm not sure if Razer's board exemplifies it best. I remember before I bought my own board (with mx brown) I managed to fiddle with the black widow in a store and I had a similar initial impression - yes I can feel a bump partway through the keypress but otherwise there wasn't anything else there. But when I got my own board with cherry switches, they felt completely different.

there is no 'best' type of switch, everyone has their own preference, done.

I think the guys at Oculus have to have been smart enough to say, "Ok sure you can acquire us, but only if you let US do all of the work independently."............... I hope so. The money from Facebook is a huge boost but if they try to interfere with Oculus' work, shits going downhill.
