  1. Sometimes your ISP has issues too, after a few hours (sometimes days) it'll normally fix itself. Cox Cable has a nifty web page to see reports of issues on a map in live time. Your ISP might too!
  2. 1. Comment below listing the following specs of your PC: Rig name: Black Raven Cpu: AMD FX 8320 @4.2GHz Gpu: EVGA Superclocked 780Ti @+125MHz Ram: 16G 1866 DDR3 Score: Ready, 6.6 Fidelity, 10007 Frames, 0 Below 90, 0 CPU Bound
  3. Changed GPU, booted as is (underclocked weirdness) all is well, Tried standard speeds & voltages PC Failed to boot, Overclock failed... lol (manualy set everything to stock)
  4. Currently no issue running "stock" as the MOBO failed to load Bus back to 200, still at 175. Cores 0-3 Are doing most of work at idle, running between 11-60% usage @ full clock speed. Cores 4-7 Doing 0% CPU fails to go to full clock speed when prime95 is running. 17.5 multiplier @3GHz on 4 cores and 4 at 14.5 @ 2.5Ghz, New idle and max temps 20c-45c This is still with the 780Ti, Should I manually set everything to what it is supposed to be stock?
  5. @TDP_Equinox Will attempt to run @ 4.5GHz 1.35v with 7770 (Known Working card) and see if computer boots
  6. @ManlkWeet My old AM2 bored is still kicking bought it when DDR3 was released, gigabyte is ware its at apparently for AMD mobos
  7. @vegurr Core temp works well for AMD http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
  8. @ TDP_Equinox What of the GPU? The game was still playing at 60 FPS but the physics wore going at around 50% , most time i have seen physics in game they were based off the cpu. Not to mention I have not been very nice to this cpu lol ( Ran it over 80c most days hitting 90c and self shutdown occurring 5+ times a day @ 4.7GHz for around 16 months) That's why it was my first thought. Also can no longer return CPU, as the Dog shewed the box it came in..... I'm stuck with it lol @ManlkWeet So..? you are agreeing with me think it is the motherboard? (I tried not to cheep out, this was the only one with heat sync on the VRM available when i built my computer)
  9. @dijktech Will do on next restart
  10. @Leviathan3x I would like to make 100% sure its a dieing mobo before I spend more money. I have a separated shoulder I need to come up with the money to fix aswell....
  11. @That_Random_Guy I turned them all back by manual and within BIOs used the restore to safe defaults
  12. _________________________________Issue___________________________________________ Whilst playing Warframe I noticed my game was running slowly. Not poor FPS or High ping, it seemed like it was a video playing at 50% speed. Not a glitch with a new patch, no one else having this issue. -----------------------------------------------------Issue--------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------Diagnostics & repair atempts------------------------------------------------ So i restart my PC. Overclock failed. I went into bios and reset all to defaults. and booted into windows. About 10-15 seconds after logging in my monitors turn 100% white and the computer is unresponsive. I press the reset button and the screens go blank. but do not come back on in a few seconds like what would normal happen. I hard shutdown the pc and boot back into bios. Set everything back to my OC settings but i leave the clock speed alone at stock. Same issue. Runs to frys electronics and buys new AMD FX 8320 Black Edition. Same issue. PC starts working for whatever reason and i get into windows. works fine. I go and apply my old OC to the new CPU and it works fine. I turn the computer off for the day and come back . Cant boot. I put the old cpu back in and while attempting to boot, windows prompts me to reset computer. I do the self re installation of windows and install all my latest drivers Using Core Temp to monitor my temps in a 20c room im idling around 33c and cpu self thermal throttles at 78c (never happened before i use to go to 90c and turn off & idle ~5c over room temp) The real time clock speed and multiply reading in core temp is backwards too. Idle the multiplier is at 22.5 (should be 4) and *apparently* im running 9.7 GHz . As you do stuff the multiplier goes down to 4 (should go up to 22.5) and the *apparent* clock speed is now 1.4 GHz Apernt clock speeds read by Core temp vary with each restart. Edit: Lowered the bus speed from 200 to 175 resaulitng in about a 4ghz OC. seems to be fine for the moment, but we will see if it dose the slow mo again. -Edit2: Pc working OK , started failing to play videos on crunchyroll. After around 4 minutes the player would auto go to next episode. Restarted PC to fix. PC Failed to powerdown. Screens go blank and stay on. Hard shutdown. Boots up, OC failed. Bios > load optomized defaults > Boot into windows. MOBO failed to load Bus back to 200, still at 175. Cores 0-3 Are doing most of work at idle, running between 11-60% usage @ full clock speed. Cores 4-7 Doing 0% CPU fails to go to full clock speed when prime95 is running. 17.5 multiplier @3GHz on 4 cores and 4 at 14.5 @ 2.5Ghz, New idle and max temps 20c-45c --Edit3: Went to Fry's and bought MSI 990FXA Gaming MOBO. New mobo works fine. Can't OC worth a damn though DO NOT BUY, Go Gigabyte! Somehow curent temps are ~30c Idle 46c MAX @ 4.5GHz Stable in AIDA, FAILS Prime 95 ---Edit4: DO NOT BUY MSI AMD MOBO, front USB 3 header is shit, Ethernet port is shit, BAD OC, Put old mobo in and running at stock speeds stable 11c- Standby idle 64c after 1 hour of AIDA64 Once my return money gets back to my card I will be purchasing ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AM3+ MOBO ----Edit5: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 arived, 19c Idle. 55c max stressing with PRIME95 because its bettter at this. No issues. May push to 4.7 again :3 -----------------------------------------Diagnostics & repair atempts------------------------------------------------ Thats were I am now. My thoughts are the MOBO is going, might have to stop at frys and replace? _____________________________The Computer In Question_____________________________ Windows 10 pro 64bit (upgraded from 7, & self reinstalled now) Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 (BIOS 2301? could be 2005) -AMD FX 8320 OC 4.5 GHz (Tested stock, OC, &stock coreclock with OC voltage) -Corsair H80 AIO liquid cooler Antec Formula 7 Nano Diamond Thermal Compund -Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 ( 2x8Gig 1866 DDR3 running at 1333 because they suck and the XMP dosnt work) EVGA 780Ti Superclocked (stock) - Acer H233H 23" LCD - HP Pavilion 25cw IPS Corsair RM650 (650w Gold) Samsung 840 Pro (120 gig - Boot drive) Western Digital Black 2T (WDC WD2003FZEX-00Z4SA0 2MB, 7200RPM) _____________________________The Computer In Question_____________________________
