  1. Wow.. pretty impressive projector. And, that SIZE though! Pretty impressive as well! Always been interested in getting a projector for the 'Man Cave', and something like the LG ULtra Short Throw projector would be perfect..
  2. Wut? My eyes NEED 144Hz! Anywho.. I just bought a second 144Hz monitor (BenQ XL2430T 24"), already have the ASUS VG248QE 144Hz on my current setup. For me, I will be sticking with high-refresh rate monitors from here on out. Purely subjective, of course, but I just have a hard time going back to using 60Hz monitors after using 120/144Hz monitors for so long. Only downside IMO being that they are TN panels. But honestly, my BenQ once calibrated right, looks quite amazing when I compare it to my AH-IPS panel side-by-side.
  3. I like the full functionality of the full keyboard layouts, but I have been looking for a nice 60/80% mech KB for my other rigs and one I can easily bring with me when needed. That Vortex POK3R looks pretty nice and might look into getting into that drop! Unless...
  4. I personally would not use the black coolant, go with the black tubing and distilled/pure water. The Mayhems Pastel Pure Black has been known to stain blocks, and even turn from the lovely shade of black, to a "chocolate" color. Every rig is different, and I am not at all saying this will indeed happen, but there's there chance. I tend to stay away from colored coolants as I just do not want to deal the chance of have my block stained. Distilled water is the way to go IMHO.
  5. That bottom bracket is installed incorrectly. Needs to be rotated Counter-clockwise once, 90 degrees, then you're golden. Like So:
  6. IMO, I would personally go for something other than those listed.. Mainly for future expansion, if that is something you might be interested in. I'm talking about the Swiftech H220-X or the H240-X liquid cooling kits. The H220-X has 120mm rad/fans, while the H240-X uses 140mm. The Swiftech kits will run you a few more $$, but IMO, it's a worthwhile investment. Each of these Swiftech kits can be expanded on also just in case you wanna throw a GPU or 2 into the loop.. that option is there. Review: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Swiftech/H220-X/ I know this is not one of the listed options you mentioned in the OP, but this might be an alternative to consider as well.
  7. You should be able to fit the tubing around the pump ends still. Couple of tricks you can try include sticking the ends of the tubing in boiling water to heat them up and make them able to flex more. Also, combined with sticking the ends of the tubing in boiling water, after you remove the tubing from the boiling water, then stick a pair of needle nose pliers in the end of the tubing and open up to pliers so to stretch the tubing.. Making the tubing much easier to get around the pump inlet/outlet connectors. Most proper, good quality, water cooling tubing will flex and stretch without worry of splitting or cracking. I have a VPP655 pump as well, but using 1/2"ID x 3/4"OD tubing, did not have to really worry about this issue.
  8. Distilled water FTW for custom loops.. I am using Alphacool Ultra Pure water in my loop, with IandH Dead-Water biocide (to keep algae at bay). Very low maintenance. I usually clean all the blocks and rads at least once every 6 months or so, and each time I do, there is no "gunk" buildup anywhere to be found. I have heard, and seen, some horror stories from people using additives to the w/c loop. No thanks IMO. While some of the colored coolants that are used in loops can look amazing , and many of them do, I just prefer to stick with good ol' distilled/pure water. Much less fuss, easy maintenance.
  9. Nice! Looking forward to the finished product! The Mineral Oil Submerged PC Build - Overkill Edition! I love it!
  10. You must have some bad luck sir.. I've never had a ROG product that has failed me yet. I still have the original ROG Crosshair nForce 590 board which still works. Used to love that board.. The one that started it all.
  11. Not a bad lookin case IMO.. but I am kinda of partial to the Obsidian line of Corsair cases. Wonder where the 850D is hiding.
  12. Outstanding achievement! 1 million subs is a nice milestone for linustechtips and the supporting community! I can honestly say, I have based many of my PC gaming rig build on many of the videos put out with Linus and crew. Great reviews and The WAN Show.. one of my fav series of vids to watch now. Keep em coming!
  13. Awesome vids.. and nice job on the climb and that high altitude LAN! Wish I could have been there!
  14. Been looking at upgrading to a pair of these from my 2x GTX 660's. Need to check out some of the SLI reviews I suppose. Seems like a nice card tho!
  15. Love the button setup, as it was also on the G2. I have played with this (G2) phone somewhat, and it just feels 'right'. Kinda nice finally seeing LG taking a step towards something new in the way of moving buttons around.. maybe a start of a new trend. ? Really love the clean looks of the phone too. Performance of the G3 seems to be taking a hit tho, as seen in the video. A little laggy?
