I have a 290, want the extra performance of the Polaris 10 GPU for obvious graphics quality reasons, and as I'm planning to move to 1440, from 1080.

CPU: i7 950 currently OC to 3.2Ghz, but soon to be 3.8GhzGPU: Powercolor PCS+ R9 290 OC to 1160/1350RAM: 12GB G.Skill 1600MhzScore: 7.3 I ran the test 4 more times and got a score of 7.3 instead, so I guess errors can occur in this test, and multiple runs are necessary. On the stock clocks for my 290 @ 1040/1350 I was getting a 6.9 (lol) fidelity score.

My favourite pick would probably be the water cooling kit. Currently I've got a CM 120v on my i7950, which works pretty okay and I can run my CPU at good temps at 3.8Ghz, but I would like to be able to push my CPU beyond that, and I think that the 1250 would be great for doing just that.

The one thing I noticed is that when overclocked, the 970s performed similarly, equally, or better, than the 780. Which is awesome because you get the same power of a 780 with the cool new features.

The IPS panel is a very good thing, especially it being a laptop, I see too many TN panels which just look terrible if you don't have them anywhere near perfect to your face.
