NakedChicken's Achievements

  1. I'm running a msi twin frozr 960. It sucks, and nvidia is a terrible company who keeps on shafting us, that's why I want to win!
  2. That's way too big, I'm gonna be carrying this with me all day for the next 4 years of my life lol.
  3. I have an hp laptop at the moment, and I thoroughly hate it. I've seen some really good reviews on this one, though. It's made by Voodoo, which HP owns kinda like how Dell owns Alienware.
  4. My budget: around $1600 USD I'd like a thin and somewhat light laptop. I've been looking for a few days and I've come down to these choices: Newest GS60 with a 965m, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152816 or The HP Omen with a 960m, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834261109 does anyone have any experience with either of these laptops? I need to get one in a couple of days for when I go off to school. I do a decent amount of gaming, mostly cs:go and a little gta v. I really like the look of the Omen but the GS60 has slightly better specs. Thanks for any help, and if you have any other recommendations I will great appreciate them.
  5. I can't fit one in my case, that is why I am concerned about the h80i...
  6. I've got had a hyper 212 Evo for a while and I'm not entirely happy with the temps I get (80c+). Is it worth to upgrade to the h80i gt? I would get bigger rad if I could but my case only has room for a 120mm and I'm not really looking to buy a new case. Do you think I'd get a considerable drop in temps? I know I can push my cpu farther and I'd like to.
  7. modmic 4.0 is awesome, I use one. It's pretty much the cheapest decent mic you can get. You could go with a desktop mic, but it'd cost a little more.
  8. That's what I was thinking, I just had to make sure. I'm kind of a cheapskate lol.
  9. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/31526-overclocking-your-monitor-refresh-rate-amd-gpus/
  10. Can anyone recommend a decent 1080p monitor that can overclock pretty decently at a decent price($100-200)? Also I am curious, could you overclock a vg24qe past it's 144 hz refresh rate?
  11. Have you ever seen a chicken with clothes?
  12. I'm looking to these headphones for gaming, movie watching, music, and normal computing. I have a crappy pair of turtle beaches I bought for $40 and the buzzing is driving me insane. I've seen some awesome reviews on these headphones and I'm wondering if I'll need a dedicated sound card or DAC. I have no idea how any of this works, so any recommendations and explanations would be greatly appreciated. I'm using onboard audio and I'd like to try to stay under $150 for the sound card, if I need one.
  13. the 390 launched in 2013.... think about that one hehe
