  1. So I just put my brother's bootdrive into my computer it and worked fine, then I put it back into his pc and still not working. Imo I don't think it's the Windows install. I'm thinking it's the cpu.
  2. Well I have tried putting my computers's bootdrive that I know works, I'm using it to type this. And It still didnt work. I dont think the computer was connected to the internet when we installed it. But I guess i can try installing it on my computer
  3. It is a fresh install from the boot media creation thing from windows. I think its a pretty old version of windows 10. I want able to get to windows update before it restarted the one time it booted into windows. Yeah I have tried different sata ports. I will try again though
  4. Well the issue is that I havnt been able to get in to usb boot drive for a while now. For some reason I'm not able to boot to it again after I did the most recent fresh install of windows. I can't swap the cpu but I try another gpu again.
  5. We are able to stay in the bios for hours at a time.
  6. I only see ACHI and raid, should ide be there as well?
  7. the boot drive os was installed with the computer that cannnot boot, it is a sata ssd. I have tried putting in my computer's boot drive sata ssd, but nothing changed
  8. i was able to get the post screen and it said i posted in safe mode, but after that the pc restarted
  9. im on version 2008 the lastest one on the website. i didnt see what version was before i updated, but yeah i updated it
  10. yeah that was one of the first things i tried. I was able to boot to a usb boot media by allowing the motherboard to restart and set its own OC (doesn't work anymore). Right now the boot drive is sitting pretty on an install of windows that has only been booted to once.
  11. So I made a post a few days ago about not being able to get a video signal, but we got that fixed by getting a new motherboard. Now I got another problem. The computer wont finish booting into windows. About a second after the circle of dots appear the thing restarts. I've tried everything I can think to do. Unplug and plug just about everything. Different slots for ram. A fresh install of windows. A working boot drive from another computer. From Jayztwocents video, increase the voltage of the cpu. Clear cmos. This is my brother's birthday pc, and I'm really want to get this darn thing to work for him. I am at a loss. Specs: ryzen 5 3600 asus b450 tuf gaming crucial ballistix 16gb 3200 windforce 5600xt Let my know if you need more info.
  12. cpu: ryzen 5 3600 mobo: asus b450 f gaming gpu: gigabyte windforce 5600xt ram: crucial ballistix ddr4 16gb When turning on the pc everything starts spinning and lighting up. The motherboard has a diagnostic led, and it goes through a bunch of different colors at the start then lands on white. According to the manual, white is for a vga issue. This is furthered by my monitor not detecting any signal. Somethings I have tried: plug gpu into different pcix slots no gpu different working gpu different gpu power cable different dual ram installs different single ram installs no ram reinstall cpu unplug storage only boot drive plugged in reset cmos tried dp cable different dp ports tried hdmi cable I dont think its the gpu as a different working gpu did not work. Is the motherboard bricked? If any clarification is needed let me know. Thanks for reading!
