  2. $200. The Fractal Core 1000 is mATX, So that would be, good fans, case, mobo, and 120GB SSD = 250-300 Depending on which brands. Thats just a little over budget... Plus, he really likes the look of the R4.
  3. Alright, so I have a friend who wants to do an upgrade, and long story short, he cannot post on the forums. So I am for him. This is his current build - https://pcpartpicker.com/p/jvrWf7 This is my proposed upgrade - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sjnQcf He wants an upgrade to ATX, SILENCE (Huge factor, as he got a semi-bad stock cooler that gets stupid loud under load), and a Motherboard with an actual proper UEFI, Heatsinks and OC capability without having to use liquid nitrogen (his current motherboard, as you can see from the link, suffers from all of these). What changes would you make, and can the cooler that I chose have its fan speed controled within the BiOS? He would like to keep it all under $200 if possible, but $230 is his max.
  4. AWESOME. Winning it would be nice. Cant wait for the videos to come. They will all be great How are the RGB Keyboards? THEY'VE BEEN TEASING US FOR & MONTHS JUST GIVE US THE DAMN THING ALREADY -.-
  5. My favorite thing about the Notebook is that ID. Mmmmmm...
  6. If you have a quad core 4GHz, the performance is not equal to a 16GHz one core. It is equal to 4 cores at 4GHz each doing different things. In the great words of @Whiskers - "A core is only one part of a CPU. Modern CPUs are usually comprised of two or more cores - however, the cores are independent and their clock speed does not 'stack'. Basically, each core can operate (to an extent) independently. The first core can perform one task whilst the second performs another - but they cannot really work on the same specific operation simultaneously. As a result of this, the CPU itself is rated at the same clock speed as that of each of its cores. :)"
  7. O rings will help a small bit, but your microphone activity and sensitivity are more important factors
  8. I think that the outrageously sexy and brushed look, as well as the extremely sharp screen and top notch specs make this phone a keeper. Hope I win
