  1. I've been planning to pickup the Acer Predator XB271HU 27" for a while now. Earlier in the year I bought a GTX 1070 ARMOR. What I'm wondering is, will my 1070 have enough juice to drive games like PUBG, Escape From Tarkov and DayZ Standalone at 1440p 60FPS running medium/high settings? Thanks guys. Specs: Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K OCed @ 4.5Ghz Cooler: Corsair H100i GPU: MSI GTX 1070 ARMOR Primary HDD: Seagate barracuda 1TB Secondary HDD: Seagate barracuda 3TB Primary SSD: Kingston HyperX 128GB Secondary SSD: OCZ-ARC100 240GB Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 3 RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400Mhz Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  2. Teamspeak has actually fixed itself, somehow.
  3. Recently and seemingly out of no where, the icons for some of my applications went blank and reverted to the "blank page" icon. So far it's happened to CPUZ, AIDA64 and Teamspeak 3. They didn't all disappear at the same time. CPUZ went blank about 10 days ago, then went AIDA64 a few days later and now today Teamspeak 3 has lost it's icon. I've got no idea why this is happening and can't seem to find a fix. The newest information I can find on the topic is from 2010... Any help is appreciated.

    No Boot MGR

Thing is, I don't want Windows on the M.2. That drive is only supposed to be used for editing video. I guess I could try unplugging every drive other than the one Windows should be on and try to repair/install Windows.

    No Boot MGR

No. The problem persists whether or not the M.2 is installed. I just mentioned the M.2 because the issue occurred right after I installed it.

    No Boot MGR

I actually removed the M.2 earlier. I've checked the boot priority list and I do have the correct drive selected.

    No Boot MGR

The drive was installed as an alternate drive for editing video on.

    No Boot MGR

Earlier today after I installed my new M.2 NVME SSD Windows failed to boot. I took the SSD out but the problem still persisted. First I got this error on a blue screen "0xc000000e" (M.2 SSD was still installed). After that first error I took the M.2 SSD out of my PC. Then I fiddled around and managed to get to a black screen that says "BOOTMGR is missing". From there I tried to looked up a bunch of fixes. From what I can tell, I need to boot from a USB/disk with Windows 10 on it so that I can repair it using CMD. There are a few command lines that have been said to bed fixes for this problem. They are as follows. bootrec /fixboot bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /rebuildbcd They all return a positive message, except "bootrec /fixboot", the message that it returns is "Access is denied". I have a feeling that if I can get this one message to return a positive result, I can fix this entire issue all together. The thing is, I can find anything on how to fix the "Access is denied" response.. If anyone can help me figure this out, I would appreciate it immensely.

How would I boot into safe mode? I'm also now getting this error. File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD Error code: 0xc000000f

    No Boot MGR

I got my new M.2 NVME SSD in the mail today, installed it and got this error when booting "0xc000000e". After a little while it started saying no OS was found on my system when booting. I tried to fix that in CMD, when typing this command "bootrec /fixboot" I get "access is denied" every time. I don't know how to fix this and I don't really want to reinstall Windows. Any help would be highly appreciated. Windows 10 64 bit
  11. All of my RAM is Corsair Vengeance. Is there a way for me to manually set them all to the same timings and frequency?
  12. So I just picked up another 8Gb stick of Corsair Vengeance 2400Mhz RAM to add to my 16. When I check Speccy I realized that the new stick is running at 2400Mhz but the old sticks are running at 2133Mhz. This is weird to me because I have my RAM set to run in X.M.P. mode in my BIOS. On top of that, they're set to run at 2400Mhz as well. I noticed that the CAS latency on the newer stick is 16 and the older sticks run at 14 but I wasn't able to change it in the BIOS. Any idea why they're not all running at 2400Mhz?
  13. I've had this mic for a long time (around 2 years), within the last year it's started to randomly say "USB Descriptor Request Failed" when I start up my computer, this happened maybe once or twice a month. Usually when it does this I can just try plugging it in a bunch and eventually it ends up working. Well today the problem is sticking and I'm not sure what to do. When I plug it in, I see the mic on recording devices for a few seconds, then it disappears and shows "USB Descriptor Request Failed" in device manager. I've tried different ports, uninstalling it, updating drivers, editing the registry, googling it etc. none of these things have fixed the issue. I'm a content creator on YouTube and Twitch so I need to have this mic up and running ASAP. I just contacted Blue for support but their site says up to 5 business days for a response which just isn't good enough so I'm hoping someone here can offer some help in the mean time.
  14. So I just bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 598 SE's, after plugging them into the headphones jack on the back of my mobo I realize I can hear a quiet buzzing noise in the background when I play games. This only happens when I start up a game like PUBG or CSGO, I haven't tried others yet. I have it plugged into the green audio jack on the back of my mobo, so it is the right jack. When I try to plug it into different audio jacks it doesn't make that noise anymore but sounds terrible. The green port is the only one that makes this buzzing sound and it only happens when I have a game running. Even if I have my headphones volume at 0% it still makes the buzzing sound, even while alt tabbed. I'm confused and a little pissed as I just bought these things after my old Astros failed on me.
