  1. 5Ghz is fine. It goes higher but I don't like the voltage.
  2. I have thought about it but I'm probably just going to get the new i9 and see how that does. Thanks anyway.
  3. The 5Ghz overcolck is fine, I've ran it stress tested for an hour plus with no problems. Its just when I play pubg it uses multi cores but maxes out one. I was just seeing if there was a way to make it move around the cores to reduce the temps.
  4. I have a i7 8700k overclocked to 5.0. Everthing is fine and the temps are ok but when I play pubg the cpu gets quite toasty as for some reason it maxes out one of the cores and it doesn't switch it round to other cores. It all still runs fine but the cpu temps get into the high 70s low 80s. Is there a way or setting so it switches between cores or do you think its just the game? Any help would be great , thanks.
  5. Scan, great service and fast delivery. Been to there shop next to the reebok stadium, great lost to play with
  6. Has anyone got this working yet ? mine is still sitting doing nothing
  7. Mines still sitting there doing nothing on cpu or gpu ?? can you delete work units and start again ??
  8. Some cards do as they are under constant full load. I have a 660ti witch does the same, but my sli 680's don't make as much noise.
  9. Any one know how to get it working or what's going on yet ?? I have work units finished but will not send and can't new work units gpu or cpu
  10. Yep me too can't download any work units been like this for hours now, will try again in the morning.
  11. I don't know how they do the PPD as my rig running the sli gtx 680's says 193k PPD without the cpu, not bad for 2 gpu's. Would like to see what sli 770's or 780's are getting.

  13. Hi all, My system seems to be using alot of memory. It has 8gig ram and at boot up it is using around 1.5 to 2 gig which is normal and fine as I have alot of thing running. After I load up a few things it ends up using 4-5 gig of ram but if I close the programs I have open I don't get all the memory back the system is still using 3-3.5 gig of ram any ideas ? I have checked task manager and what is being used in there dose'nt add up to the amount being used. The system runs fine and fast but I was just wondering were my ram was going.
