JoshuaTjandra got a reaction from jaqiefox in what makes your setup different?
Watercooling is not quieter than air cooling whaaaa? maybe for AIOs, but even AIOs with pwm fans can be silent. esp noctuas.
U seem super uptight about stability. u buy a k series but u dont overclock yet you criticize people who buy unnecessary ram and psu, seems a bit hypocritical.
anyway there's nothing wrong with it. I just had to write this out to help me stop cringing.

JoshuaTjandra got a reaction from juretrn in Razer Blackwidow ultimate 2013 review.
Here is my short review of the BWU 2013 after 3 months of use.
THE GOOD
Lighting
Lighting is the best I have seen on a keyboard, the green plate bewlow the keys caps makes all the difference, the light reflects off of it and illuminates the area around the keys caps, the best way i can describe is it gives the key caps a "floating" look, as if there was no backplate at all. Brightness adjustments are great, around 15 levels of brightness which is more than enough.
LESS lighting options than the Ducky Shine 3
(PIC does not represent the awesomeness of the lighting)
Software and Macros
I am going to get flamed for this, but the software is the best I've had on a keyboard, it allows me to use the macros to control my other razer products, such as dpi adjust on my DA2013, Macros are easy and painless to set up, currently I have it to open frequent programs, and Invoker Spells, Courier control in DOTA2. I have never used macros before but now I use it almost all the time. Synapse is actually good once you get past the sign up phase, set certain modes for games which automatically activate when you launch it.
Build Quality
Braided cables are good, keyboard has no flex, I have not used this keyboard outside of my house, so I cannot say about it's durability when going to LAN parties. not much to say here.
Layout
Standard. Long shifts and delete, no Linus cardinal sins committed.
THE BAD
Finish
Though much better than logitech's G710+ glossy finish, the coating still attracts fingerprints and other oily substance, very hard to remove, removal with alcohol still leaves some streak marks
Options
Razer does not give any options to switch and lighting preference, 50g Blues with green backlight, I would love to see more options here or at least a mode to switch LED colours at this price point.
CONCLUSION
Overall i think this is a good product, I purchased mine for $129.99 CAD, $10 cheaper than a Ducky Shine 3.
If you like green backlights, macros and advanced software tweaking, then the BWU2013 is for you, however it has less usability without the software.
I personally prefer the BWU2013 to the DS3 mainly for dedicated macros and razer's Synapse
Don't accept "RAZER SUCKS!" blanket statements, though they might be overzealous in terms of their marketing BS, some of their products are legitimately good, namely the BWU2013 and DA2013 from my experience.
Thanks for checking out my review!

JoshuaTjandra got a reaction from Britanian in Fractal Design Define R4, enough room for a h100i in the top??
It will fit, I have a maximus 6 hero, h100i in pull.
I don't know about push/pull but pull is good enough, h100i fans are SP optimized, adding fans will only create more noise
too lazy to link the linus video where he mentions this. just look it up

JoshuaTjandra got a reaction from Turkatron in Which mechnical keyboard?
The ducky I had had a central glow on the snake only.
G710+ is inferior to the BWU2013 I'd say, becuse they were drunk when they decided to have a glossy keyboard. just like the first edition BWU.
True if you were in a budget I'd recommend CM storm line, they have almost all the features at a significantly reduced price.
You might be right on the LED thing, I never actually looked under, it just looked like it had more illumination in the middle, significantly less on the side, but maybe thats because how the snake is positioned.

JoshuaTjandra got a reaction from lachyman in HELP me spend my $3000
I'm planning to build a PC with a budget of $3000
I want my pc to
- Play heavily modded games. Skyrim, GTA, Total War, CoH..
- Play in surround setup, 3x 1080p
- Look absolutely gorgeous. Matching colour scheme and that sort of things
Here's what I have currently
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1x38K
Reasoning behind the parts I've picked
i7 4770k - Games potentially using hyperthreading?
GTX 780 - 3gb VRAM. Tho i'm still torn between 780 and 7704gb. Also I dont know if I should get ASUS DCU2 or EVGA ACX
Max VI Hero - Aesthetics, I want to match my gpu. If i go with EVGA ACX, then my mobo would prob be gigabyte
The Corsair stuff - Mostly I just want them to match, alternatives are welcome
Critique my build and help me spend it wisely.
That being said, No I won't build a $1500 standard gaming desktop, it wont be a high enough performance leap form my laptop to justify the purchase
Thanks!
