Yeah. The only real problem will be beating the people who have more than 1 GPU or a better GPU .
Oh well. Big Vega boi can try to brute force its way.
-
@Den-Fi Well I mean I don't have like 30 or 40 GPUs so that ain't gonna happen.
Even if I had 2x Vega 56s I'd still never catch up.
-
I also don't have endless amounts of money for energy or graphics cards.
-
Who cares, I was planning on 3 R9 Fury's but wife kaboshed it...so just running 1, going to hit 5 million tonight!

I like what @yaboistar said - its a scientific research thing first...dick measuring contest second
I cant keep up with @Den-Fi either, even with 5 GPUs I have avail running, but for me its about participating with LTT team and a couple badges

Every bit helps. Points are meaningless and are for bragging rights only. The biggest thing is making sure WU's are completed to actualy help the scientific community. Points are simply awarded based on the difficulty, speed and efficiency WU's are completed.
Just remembering to hit Fold,, the hit finish (On Advanced client in your windows tray) after it's started once a day will EASILY get you the minimum requirement for the event, without having to worry about folding too much for power or heat concerns. It's a low bar that a 750ti could hit

@TVwazhere Oh okay. Cos I'm crushing it in terms of progress on WUs but the points are a bit slower to accumulate if that makes any sense.
