First world problems: Trying to figure out how to pay £390 to fully setup company with loads of annoying stuff taken care of during Pandemic.

    I feel like filing to make a company should only cost $0 until you make X amount.

    @ARikozuM In the UK the actual filing fee is £12. The rest of the above number is automating bureaucracy and protecting my privacy.

    Protecting your privacy when a public business has public records? That makes no sense.

    @ARikozuM Basically: having business addresses that are not my address, having the aforementioned address be the official address where Mail from the g00berment gets sent, and the one officially on record.

    Also tons of the money goes towards filing paperwork that needs to be filed beyond just filing new company.

    But the records are public, no? Like if anyone wonders about your business they could get that info aside from tax ID.

    Yes but I meant more in terms of addresses and stuff like that. Also having receptionists answer phone calls and not giving customers my actual phone number is good stuff
