So I recently (less than a week ago to be more specific) made a purchase and then almost instantly regretted it and requested a refund from the buyer on Paypal.

 

Several days go by and I'm wondering what's wrong cos usually Paypal refunds happen quite quickly.

 

So I got on the phone with Paypal Customer Support and an adviser told me that PayPal refunds will now take Up To 7 Working Days to arrive because of changes to how Paypal isssues refunds.

 

Instead of Paypal refunding via Paypal balance, Paypal is now refunding to the original payment method which will take Up To 7 Working Days because receiving refunds from Card issuers is usually within 5-7 Working Days.

    I typically find ACH transfers take 2-3 business days.

    Thaaaaaaat's why I still haven't got my refund for a failed invoice (dood didn't have bank account linked so he refunded me and I did friends and family so it'd go straight to his balance).
