Does anybody remember LTT content from 2014 :P? lol. The good old days when people reviewed motherboards and RAM kits, when nobody dreamed of early access content, and when there was no such thing as the GPP .

3 and a half years later and now a lot more people can stream easily cos of awesome hardware :).

Also, tempted to switch over to x264 for recording :P. It would be interesting to see LMG re-do this video(see spoiler) but with RX Vega 56/64 and Ryzen 5 2400G since both the 2400G and RX Vega use different encoding hardware to Polaris (especially the 2400G). And if they do a re-do of that video, it'd be interesting to also see how an i5-8400 does and i7-8700K.

Also, it's slightly annoying that Nvidia and AMD GPUs don't have native VP9 hardware encode support yet even thought Intel supports it.

yeah, I'd like to see them come back to it as well, especially NVENC then vs now(NVENC h.264 as obs calls it) as well as x264 vs x265
