But I was speaking generally, Microsoft seems to care more than everyone else about performance improvements in Windows 10 than anybody else with their OS or custom Skin on top of an OS.

Also, the fact that my phone runs the same kernel (pretty much) as my laptop and the same OS under the hood (with some exceptions) with vastly inferior hardware is quite funny.

Phone:

Qualcomm Snapdragon 400

8GB Internal + 64GB External

1GB RAM

Laptop:

Intel core i5-5200U

250GB SSD

8GB RAM

Desktop:

Intel core i5-4570 (4C/4T)

128GB SSD + 1TB HDD 7200rpm + 1TB 5400rpm

16GB RAM

Again same kernel, same OS and almost exactly the same. Now if only everybody transitioned from Win32 and stuff to UWP and Appx...........

They have for sure taken it a lot more seriously since Windows 7 imo, and it's very much appreciated!

so what that it's the same kernel? Literally means nothing. 

iOS and Android are both so far ahead in support and general OS advancement at this point there is literally no reason for a user to bother with W10. 

And to fanboy for Microsoft makes no sense whatsoever. 

@ZetZet Lol. There are some idiotic stuff in IOS and Android which Windows Mobile fixes.

And OS advancement is far superior on Windows Mobile. And there are planet of reasons someone would like to use Windows 10 Mobile.

You are either a disgruntled customer or you have a vendetta against Microsoft.

If it's the former, then get over yourself,  all due respect but your not that special. If it's the latter then just stop because it is stupid.

W10 is locked down, there is no reason to be a fan of a locked down OS. I understand Android fanboys, they can make their own changes. W10 is just whatever shit microsoft puts out, broken most of the time.
