why do you need another HDMI port?
Also that card above has the same problem, you'll be using one port as the IGPU will be disabled

Your CPU thermal throttled. You should be fine, I don't even know why it let you into the bios, usually motherboards detect it and shut down.

First, you're sure it was the CPU running at 1600MHz and not the RAM? The CPU may be fine, but no one can really tell you definitively. You need to go back, put the cooler on, and attempt to boot the system.

I believe you need a TRS to TTRS adapter (i use one with my videomic go to connect it to my iPhone) - alternatively the videomic go works in my behringer X302 USB mixer
Nope its powered by jack, it uses a cold shoe adapter - no power

i'm thinking the carbon fiber plaque will be really cool in combination with that case!
also, three way SLI with titan X's will be kinda overkill for gaming, no? maybe they'll be running in full potential when dx12 games drop?
other than that, i think this build is gonna be awesome! looking foreward to the build log now.

No, you'll probably want a "normal" mobile CPU for that. That said I haven't tried virtualization on any of the ultrabooks I sell... interesting idea there. Best bet is that GS60, there's one on amazon for $1100 (about 1030 euro)

The Xeon is a really slow clockspeed CPU though, wouldn't be great for gaming.
