heethoofd27 got a reaction from CrippledROBOT in DPC Latency causing audio pops and crackles
I've had these exact same problems ever since the fall creators update. Have you guys experienced this too? Otherwise it might just be a driver/windows issue.

On my router, I can use up to 8 different repeaters parrallely and it works great. I got 2 different repeaters and both work absolutely fine...

The EVO is a bit faster I believe... I am not just talking about a 500Mb/s sequential Read/Write, but the random R/W as well.

Compared the SP900/902, BX/MX 100/200... nah... they are all pretty darn fast.
OCZ ARC is usually cheap too, the controller tech is old but not too big a deal.

The Random Read is really slow compared to the ARC... and the others.
This one right? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-internal-hard-drive-shfs37a120g

For moving large files around it is great, but as a boot SSD it will lack snappiness when loading/running Windows... compared to the others.
-

Correct... as the guy above mentioned, the BX100 is really good too.

Uhmmm, you can "rescue" as much as you want. =)
Do you mean move games over? You will have around 85-95GB for programs after Windows is installed.
-
heethoofd27 reacted to gabewisneski5 in What SSD to pick
The data you want to rescue depends on whether it is an installed application, a simple file, etc. From messing around on my on computer it is relatively easy to move an entire app from one place to another, however, sometimes this can cause problems with parts of the app or the app entirely. To be on the safe side I would say simply reinstall all of your apps so the OS is aware of them and all links work, then just move the rest around.

So basically if I can afford it it's better to go for the 850 evo. it's just 15 euros anyways.

Update No.13
My lucky number, and final update!
Hello my friends!
In this update, I am proud to present to you the posting of the Redefine project, and the final photoshoot of this beastly machine. I am very happy and sad to see this project complete as I have had a blast working with this chassis, all the products and various materials. I cannot say that everything went problem free though as I had some driver issues and software problems to deal with which took 3 days of my life, wasted on trying to get this system up and running.
I am happy to report that everything is now working perfectly, and I have installed Windows 10 Preview and played a few rounds of Battlefield Hardline.! BTW if anyone wants to have a match on BF4 or BFH please add me at metallicacid_01
But before I get on with the image onslaught, I would like to take this moment to thank my sponsors who have giving their time and products to make this project come to life. Without your support, I would not be able to create these projects that I love to create! Thank you to:
Inet
Corsair
ASUS
Ultimate Personal Computer
Dremel
So firstly I want to show you some awesome custom engraving made by the owner of this project, Jens. He is magical
Some of the cable routing from behind to the front:
White painted Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM installed:
Redefined H100i hotwired to another PSU as I didn't have a second SATA power cable handy.. And the machine posting:
Jens working on some more engravings, and a Corsair badge be made:
Final images taken on location where I work, and modded:
Final images at home in the kitchen
I really hope that you all have enjoyed this projects' build log, and the finished resulting PC. It has been a pleasure working on the chassis, and having all of you joining me once again in creating another custom project!
For those of you wanting to know what is next, I have a few projects in the works, and hope to start with a personal HTPC project right away. Once I have some more confirmed information, I will set up a build log and inform you all where you can find me
That is it for now, and thank you for following. I hope to see you again in the next project!!
Kind regards,
Justin "MetallicAcid" Ohlsen

heethoofd27 got a reaction from silenthill_69 in New gaming mouse
Yeah I know. Too bad that there is no store nearby that is selling gaming peripherals. I do like the staple logitech ergonomics though. My main grasp with it was the sniper button but since it can be disabled I don't think that that is a major issue. The steelseries rival also looks like a good option but I think I will go for the g402 then. Too bad I have to wait for my birthday

heethoofd27 got a reaction from silenthill_69 in New gaming mouse
Right, I didn't notice that. The mouse however is a little bit over my budget though, the g402 seems like a better option in that regard. Nice battlestation btw

I have a G502, and if you were considering the 402, don't be put off by the sniper button, my 502 has a bigger one (albeit a bit further away) and I never touch it, you can also rebind it to do nothing if it annoys you.
