Sound crack(l)ing in Windows 10 (fall creators)
heethoofd27 replied to partymarty's topic in Troubleshooting
Mostlikely it's a combination of all three since not everyone is experiencing this issue. What DAC did you get to solve this? I might do the same since waiting for windows/realtek to fix this is probably going to take quite a while if ever. -
Sound crack(l)ing in Windows 10 (fall creators)

It almost seems like this only happens on systems with an Nvidia gpu, at least so far I've seen. I reinstalled windows yesterday but that didn't help anything. Does the crackle also happen over the microphone for you guys? I hope a solution is found without requiring a usb DAC cause it's been driving me crazy. -
I've been having the same issues even after updating to that specific nvidia driver. I hope that a real fix is found soon because this is driving me crazy.

I've had these exact same problems ever since the fall creators update. Have you guys experienced this too? Otherwise it might just be a driver/windows issue.
-
I checked DPC latency with Latencymon and haven't found any problems. The random crackles also happen on the front panel audio jacks. It doesn't however happen on the audio jack on my hdmi monitor. So it seems to be a problem with the integrated audio. Is yours also a Realtek audio controller?

I've been having this exact same problem since the fall creators update. Have you found a solution for this yet? I've been looking everywhere but still haven't found any solutions that worked.

I don't think so. I'm on 50% volume in windows and also about 50% or less on the slider on the headset. It's not that loud over all. I did turn up the volume on my microphone up a bit, you could barely hear my voice over skype before that.

The noise is more a lower pitched sound (so i geuss it's a buzz) and it varies in how loud it is. The crosstalk is the audio of games, youtube etc. that i hear through my headphones which also seems to leak into the microphone. It seems to only pick up the louder sounds though from what i've heard from the people listening. But I'm guessing that is because it (luckily) doesn't leak at full volume.

ehm maybe. I have my psu plugged into a power strip so i would think so. Would it also cause the audio leakage when plugged in to an ungrounded socket? EDIT: I asked, but I don't. Is this an issue or is it okay to just leave it plugged in to an ungrounded socket?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a sound card for my hyperX cloud 1 headset because i'm experiencing some electric noise on the microphone and some sound leakage into the microphone. This annoys me very much when I hear it from others so I would like to fix this. However, I don't know which sound card to buy. A friend of mine recommended the Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 VX, is this a good choice or am I better off with a usb sound card like the Creative Sound Blaster play? I'm looking to keep the price around 30 euros if that's possible. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hey guys, some of my friends on skype and teamspeak have told me that they can hear some of my audio over my microphone, especially when it's loud. I'm currently using a HyperX Cloud headset on the onboard audio of my gigabyte sniper b5 motherboard. Would buying a soundcard or something else solve this issue or is it a software problem? I would very much like to fix this since i'm annoyed by hearing the same thing from others.

Swagbucks.com Long Term Review: Earn giftcards for free
heethoofd27 replied to zws397's topic in Member Reviews
Thanks for posting this! This looks like a nice way to earn some extra money and have something to do while watching streams, youtube etc. I'll definately try this out. EDIT: For some reason the "get started" button to create an account doesn't work, is it just me or is it the website? EDIT 2: It seems like swagbucks isn't available in the netherlands ;(- 27 replies

nice review! Just curious, what are your temperatures on the card? I have the same card and it gets quite hot sometimes.
