I don't know for sure, can't find a good picture, but phanteks is pretty good about filtering, and yeah front rad as exhaust

The top should be filters in the top, but trying to do intake and exhaust on the top at the same time is problematic, would be better to do front exhaust and top/rear intake, Linus assures us that the principle of heat rising doesn't matter inside a computer case. also make sure your fans are pulling through the radiator so it's easier to clean any dust or grime it accumulates

Probably the RHA since they have a U shape signature with a generous bass bump, also comes with filters to change how they sound.

Westone is pretty flat, does that notch from ~4-8 kHz though.

a little hurt to not see an android user but i would recommend getting the 6s now or even 6splus, and not really thinking about the 7. the reason i say this is because the iphone 7 is like 90% confirmed to not have a headphone jack and they are going to be yet again making it slimer reducing battery life. The 6s and 6s plus is a very good phone and i would recommend that, for me personally i like a bigger phone so i would get the plus, also it has OIS (optical image stabilization) which makes your shots clearer

theres probable going to be an adapter, but it will definetl ybe like$50 because it must have a DAC andd AMP inside the adapter for the headphones plugged into it to even work, being apple i wouldnt be surprised if they end up charging 100 for it or like 75

I would highly recommend the Rampage V extreme but also great boards are the EVGA Classified and the Asus x99 deluxe.

I have a X99-UD4 and I'm really happy with it. It's great great connectivity at a great price and I was able to overclock my 5820k to 4.6 Ghz on air. (link below)

    (Ya it's running OS X)

The only issue Ive had is with overlocking ram but I hear that might be fixed on the higher end boards. So I wouldn't hesitate to get another gigabyte board.

My personal recommendation is to get the cheapest board you can--I was looking into the Asus X99-A as well, but Microcenter had a great combo deal on the 5820k and UD4--because with broadwell and skylake just around the corner our X99 rigs will become obsolete fast.

The heatsinks are screwed in, just remove the screws and just paint it black. I wouldn't paint it red, would look stupid and a fully black board goes well with the rest.

    ah sorry i missed that.
    you could offcourse paint it.

But on the otherhand that Gigabyte G1 board is a nice board aswell.
It has bluetooth and Wifi so yeah.
And its also a true 8 phase board.

    i personaly wont bother painting.
if you have the money for the Gigabyte.

Learn a few things about VRM. You recommend the Mpower because theyre known to be or advertised to be "overclocking boards" rather than looking at the specs? The MSI x99s mpower is basically a 6 phase (w doubler) where as the X99-A is a true 8 phase. That's typical MSI gimmicks, none of their boards are actually overclocking boards. They take a regular motherboard, paint the heatsinks a bit yellow and slap a mpower label on it. Apparently lots of people trap in their BS. The page for their Mpower probably costed more than their R&D.
The RVE doesn't have better vrm than the X99-A, even that board is useless for overclocking. Also nothing actually made sense in your flowchart, why MSI for streaming? Oo.

I'd say X99-A. The Deluxe is just practically the same, just a few useless features are missing. X99-A and up have all a 8 phase PWM controller along with the 60A rated IR3550 mosfets. Asus X99 have Fan Xpert 3 allows you to control 3pins on the CPU fan headers as well, on the chassis headers you can enable a feature to let the fans shut automatically off when your pc idles, if you have a pump connected to the chassis header you're undervolting you can let the board know that its a pump. Not much of a point going with Gigabyte, MSI or Asrock for X99. Featurewise Asus offers so much more imo. Also Asus doesn't use that awful Killer lan, it's the new Intel lan they are using which is a lot better & more stable.
