As said before please don't use your hand as a temperature guage for your CPU and that area in general. As for the question, I'd expect that area to be hot considering the CPU can get extremely hot! Nothing really to worry about I'd say.

Depends on the bandwidth, lots of people with little bandwidth would cause a really bad connection/internet speeds.

In the Audio tab set the "Mircophone/Auxiliary Audio Device" to your headset and it should work.
